  • Have you tried this on 3s? Wondering if its worth buying 2 batteries

  • 1 dislike. Hmmm. Must be Michael Wargo's ex-wife.

  • A most enjoyable start to the day. Relaxing and none of that twitchy stuff the so called "pros" carry on with. Did you time the flight to fit the song or was that a fluke. I hope I'm not responsible for Potatohead Wargo especially if it's a girl. I did like it though, great work.

  • @eddy4759 lol

  • @eddy4759 lol

  • That is some fantastic 3D! I am so envious. Looks so smooth. That airplane looks like it is floating. I guess I need to head to the field and get more practice.

  • what battery and esc are you using?

  • @Aerobaticsand3D1995 battery is a 2 cell 400mah in that range. Usin a Hobbyking 10 amp esc. Again, I am using their stock setup...

  • @mtwargo im using a 2s 460 and a turnigy plush 12amp is that ok?

  • @Aerobaticsand3D1995 YEs... That's fine... I always want to be as light as possible. The 12 amp is no biggie weight wise, and the 460 is 25% more battery. YOu will get a longer flight though. Personal taste really. I know this sounds bad, but I honestly want everything as light and performance oriented as possible. I want all the help I can get from the plane. This one flies great though

  • That's relaxing to watch and fly too.

  • WOW... LIke a dance or something... Looks like the pilot loves this plane...

  • @mtblover98 i know lol

  • @TheMagicmole77 good

  • Nice

  • @TheMagicmole77

    Probably more because of his father, than his name...

  • That is most impressive!!!!!

  • Nice...

  • Have this plane, one of the best buy's from hobbyking, if you are interested in learning 3d flying this is probably the best plane to learn on, soo easy to fly !

  • @Tendo8002 I love this plane as you can see in the video.BUt this plane is different from a freestyle plane. Not wildly aerobatic. If you notice, I did a lot of precision slow flight. That is what it is designed for. Kind of a hybrid between 3d and F3p(indoor precision). It is a blast to fly. BUt if you get one, set it up to fly straight. This would have flown 3 times as good if I didn't film on the 2nd and 3rd flights. It will couple a bit, and will need treeking. Then will be awesome!

  • Description of the electronics setup would be helpful. Prop size,type, etc.

  • @oysterlicker

    Motor : 2403 2100kV Brushless outrunner

    Airscrew : 8040 slow flyer

  • @gasparrt My set up was what I always use. I fly for Hobbyking, and always use exactly the setup they recommend on the site. They always do a great job at picking the right components... My recommendation to all those buying one is to use a larger aileron servo because it moves 2 surfaces, and use an offset servo arm. Also, don't use too long of a servo arm. Use as short as U can to ensure precise control and servo resolution, but still to get full deflection.

  • @gasparrt

    A small correction about the prop

    GWS does not have an orange RD-8040 prop at all. Instead, this is the GWS DD-8040 being used here and in the Galaxy photos on HK website but whoever typed the info must have been drunk to type Slow Flyer.

    RD = Reduced Drive (SloFly)

    DD = Direct Drive (Sport)

    edd!

  • @meateddidotme

    Thank you. I have some of these DD-8040 and I have to try it with a 2403 motor. This setup seems to be great.

  • Very slow and majestic. Great job, Mike.

  • very sweet plane!! i love how it can do the 3d flying at a slow speeds

  • the music.... soothing

  • first hell ya
