  • hi, when i press the depth of field preview lever the green needle in the finder changes.my question is which exposer is right? the one with or without pressing the lever???

    thanks for answering!!!

    thanks for your vids!!!

  • I have this camera but everything on yours is on the opposite side of mine... please help!!!!!

  • @vominator Dude the image in this video is mirrored, check the "nikon" on the camera.. that means that your camera is exactly the same as this one.. relax.

  • Very good review but, please, speak loudly !!! It's very sad because you have a lot of interesting to say :-)

And about serie E from Nikon, is also "pancake" lens.

But nice video by the way ;-)

  • Okay, I used a coin.

    Great video btw

    Thanks

  • I don't know how to open the battery slot. Oh well, I'll find out.

  • Please help!

I just got this camera and I loaded the film got new batteries etc. When I tried to pull the lever it won't pull. And when I look into the lens, all I see is black and the number. I don't know what to do : (

  • @MegaLyricalGenius The mirrors probably stuck. It's probably broken you should get someone to look at it :(

  • @MegaLyricalGenius heyy yea take off the lens. and on the left side theres a little lever push it up and the mirror should come down :)

  • Very informative video! I just received an Fe2 for free and I didn't know how to even turn it on until I watched this. I also like the sund effects that you make like "Boop!" and "Chooch!" Makes the video all that more entertaining.

  • so... i never never comment on youtube videos , but ... this holidays my dad saw the pictures i took down in buenos aires , so he decided to buy me a camera ( a really fancy one , canon with movable display ) but i said fuck it buy me a macbook pro , and give me that old camera that you have never used.... so that´s how I ended up with a F2 , ergo with this video , ergo writing this comment . he did not know nothing about this camera so , yes .. Muchísimas Gracias (thanks a lot).

  • heyy...i have the same camera but i dont know what kind of film it takes. Can u tell me what kind of film it takes please? :-)

  • @MrBrandonandAustin o____o

    seriously?

Any type of 35mm film works, slide film takes special processing though.

  • this may sound like a stupid question, but does your FE make any strange sounds when you flip it or turn it? When I do it with mine, I hear something rattling or moving around inside, like a loose part. It just drives me nuts, I'm just wondering if thats normal. but the camera functions perfectly

  • @friggyFilms The FE is a semi professional camera, there shouldnt be parts loose on the inside.

This might be dumb but did you check if its just the metal straps? Idk thats the only part that makes noise on mine.

  • Nice job kid.

  • @stee1face lol im a kid?

  • is this a left hand camera?

  • @ElectrikSquid Theres no such thing....

  • @xbob808x oh it looked like it in the video

  • @xbob808x So why did you mirror the video?

  • @MKlukowski Why dont you just get a mirror and watch it in the mirror cause im to lazy to edit and my mac book pro mirrors it.

  • @xbob808x I guess I'm too lazy to try to improve a video that you obviously approached half-assed. Have a nice day though.

  • @MKlukowski I made this for my friend who also purchased the camera... i just uploaded it on youtube for people to watch.

I'm sorry im not a tech savy like you, I dont even own a digital video camera. I have no idea how to unmirror it. Sorry for wasting your time.

  • I found this camera in my step-dad's spare bedroom closet.

I just got film for it today! :D

  • Comment removed

  • @lana411 Haha no problem, almost all slr type film cameras open the same way :]

  • Great review, been looking to get into film after using the D200 for a while so this vid helped alot, any tips on setting up your own darkroom?? Cheers!

  • @doogiehowsermd I use the darkroom at my college for most B&W work.

Its really expencive and i used to have one at my old house. I dont really reccomend having your own since it'll take an entire room up in your house and there are alot of chemicals involved. But if your really serious about it you could try haha, just know your going to be spending a fair amount of money
