"My Dad was a fireman when he was a young lad "Quote from" Paul McCartney".Can be heard on the interview here on YouTube>> Paul McCartney is the Fireman.
Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
But firemen like to put out fires, huh.
Is that why you and John had it out?
Dont be jealous.
Gen 4:7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
"I have great admiration for the courage all of those guys showed. I feel a connection with the firemen because my father was a volunteer fireman in Liverpool during World War Two. We're doing this big concert in New York to stand up for democracy."Oct-10-2001
If you read what Paul said pre the New York gig 2001 he made a big deal about relating it to stories of his father helping the Liverpool Fire Service during and after the war. not a well known fact but Paul said it.
Paul and Michael were delivered in the Walton General Hospital in Rice Lane, Liverpool, where Mary was in charge of the maternity ward. Mary was welcomed back before she gave birth to Paul by being given a bed in a private ward. Jim was not present at the birth as he was fighting a warehouse fire, but arrived at the hospital two hours later."Wikipedia"

If you can find Rushes, it is one of the most emotional, beautiful peices of music you will ever hear. And a good listen under the influence of LSD, MDMA, or ketamine (or all three at the same time in my preference) will result in a mystical experience I'm sure. Hell, Rushes was made for tripping...there is spoken words during some of the songs referencing tracers, visions, tripping, etc.
Jim worked as an inspector at Napier's engineering works, which made shell cases that were later filled with explosives.[13] He volunteered to be a fireman at night and often watched Liverpool burning from his rooftop observer's position. Between 1940 and 1942, Liverpool endured 68 air-raids, which killed or injured more than 4,500 of the population and destroyed more that 10,000 homes.-After 911 Paul came to NYC and told everyone on a radio show his d-ad had been a fireman and did a 911 benefit

Oh yeah? What's your source? Paul's dad was amateur musician and part time cotton salesman according to Paul himself, you little moron. :) He never was a fireman. Learn how to read and check the facts and then come back! :)
Look numb nutz, I heard Paul McCartney myself, in a NEWS interview after 911 ,when he came to NYC to play a benefit for NYC firefighters.clain that he felt a connection to the NYC-firefighters ,because of his Dad having been a fireman.
I bought the first Fireman album when it was released in '93. I still haven't found a copy of the second one, Rushes...which is a better album of the two, in my opinion.
The first album was vaguely crappy, I have to say. it was basically just a bunch of semi-dodgy remixes of a solo McCartney song. The second album was shockingly brilliant (especially when put up against the first one), and seemed way more like a true project with a very consistent aesthetic vision.
Sounds like someone has been a listenin' to th chemical brothers...slowed down a bit.
Maybe Paul is one of the chemical brothers !! Now THAT would make alot of sense.

The term fireman in Britain has nothing to do with fighting fires, it has to do with the art of butchery- meat butchery to be exact.

This is a fantastic sound and something, that most people don`t expect from Paul. I will buy the record if it is released. 5 Stars!

methinks the Fireman rushes, was a reference to the line from Penny Lane.
i remember hearing it somewhere, but not hard to figure-out on own. lol.
If this music was readily-available at reasonable-pricing to buy,
I would buy instantly.
McCartney II is one of my fav records,
and fireman music appears to be Mccartney II on an acid trip of fanciful flights,
reward alrights all rights to us all.
