ha the play ground is still there there is also the pond and if you opened your eyes and looked then your friends would have found the kilkenny desing center which was across the road and the jacks are down towards the town on the right near the chip van that has parked there for years you coulda filmed alot more

Hahahahaaaaa the playground is still there! It's in the same place as it always was, you have to keep walking along that path you were on through the trees and follow along, although it's a much newer playground, it was redone during the summer there! :P

Man! The grounds are vast. Too bad the castle was closed. I would have loved to see the interiors. The facade looks like the once you see in those horror medieval movies. I can see that you have put lots of time and effort into trying to produce a good clip, lots of movemet a little to much m,ovement should really get hard with yourself during editing and cut cut cut, otherwise a great attempt and informative to a degree.

I've seen some of your vids before, but never knew you were from Waterford - is breá liom Port Láirge! Good friend of mine took me to Kilkenny Castle last year (I'm from Australia and stayed in Waterford). Would you believe she took 1 1/2 hours to get us there?! You can understand why I bought my lovely friend a map of Ireland as a parting gift... ;)

Only part of the interior is open to the public, but the tour takes you to the more stately rooms that have been restored. Nice place to visit.

So true, and Waterford really is quite small. That said, I was in the city for 15 days, and I caught up with another friend of mine on all but two days. On *both* of those two days, I ran into her at exactly the same spot (Arundel Square, coming out of the lane). Freaked both of us out... :D

I'm pretty sure the playground is still there, there's a path off to the left of where you were standing that leads down along the river and the playground is somewhere along there. I used to go there a lot when I was a kid. I love Kilkenny! I've been on about a million tours of that castle over the years. =] Shame it was closed. =[
