@Pdids01 Absolutely agree. Night Watch is one of my favourite movies and it's russian. Also, personally i think subs are way better than dubs, something gets lost in the translation and i don't just mean word meanings because that applies to both verbal and written language. People who speak the native language perform better orally, plus it helps that there's no visual dissonance, you'll be surprised how much we understand speach via lips rather than our ears.

@farzinfarzad I just watched it and it was tops. Your absolutely right (spoiler alert) had it been a Hollywood film the wife would have survived, and Calzones would have came through no problem, being European and addressing the fact that life isnt always fair this film did a fabulous job

There'll be an inferior, subtlety-free remake for people who don't like foreign things soon. Like Let The Right One In, whose title was so confusing it had to be changed. God, I hate Hollywood and US audience attitudes to world cinema.
