Doesn't it make more sense to put the mascara on before you put the eyeshadows on? it just seems to me all of it gets taken off by putting your finger on top of the lid after its already done. Maybe im just being ignorant or something

@guyzrdogz probably random... but eyeshadow after you apply mascara causes the mascara to catch the eyeshadow and turn ashy and weird looking. If you're using a primer for you eyeshadow a mere touch will not remove it.

@guyzrdogz I think doing mascara first makes it harder to cover the lid evenly especially at the root of your lashes and powder might fall on your lashes and get stuck there ruining the darkness of the lashes. But when you do mascara afterwards the powder helps volumizing the lashes. When you hit the lashes with your brush it might ruin the shape or even break them when mascara is already on. These are my reaons. But I recommend trying yourself which method suits you better.

@dcaron2226 Hi, If you go to EVEPEARL.com, all the eyeshadows are compatable with all eyecolors. Black liquid eyeliner is always classic. After apply eyeliner, you can also soften it , or "smoke out" with eyeshadow.

This is the BEST smokey eye tut's i have seen. I would LOVE if my makeup could turn out like this. I have blue/green eyes, very porcelain freckled skin, & "dishwater" blonde/brown hair. I have tried SO many times to do the smokey look...but everything always ends up looking "muddy" and not very pretty. I wish you could find a model with these properties and do the smokey eye-- Still a BEAUTIFUL job on the tutorial!!!
