Actually I really don't like ultimate bumble bee. But I do like how his transformation is compicated because I like a challenge. But I really hate this toy. His other version is better.  You know, the one that is almost the same size but not exactly acurate. I forgot what the hell it was called.

It is battery operated. Its sounds like the batteries have died in your unit. Should be simple enough to replace them. You may need a screwdriver to remove the battery cover. Enjoy your new acquisition!

So, my Ultimate Bumblebee from ROTF is making very loud clicking noises when the wings move. In this video, I don't hear the clicking noise when the wings are moving. Is mine defective, or is the clicking sound from the wings normal and I'm just not hearing it in the video?

Same happened for me. It is because the wings are interfering with the wheels in robot mode. to prevent this from happening ever again just bring the wheels down to his shoulder height. Then the wings are free and allowed to expand.

Dude, I picked this thing up about a year after it was released. I got it for 35 bucks at Wal Mart!!! They goofed up, and priced it at 35 dollars by mistake. I was gonna go back the next day to get another for that price cause you and I both know...these things were normally 85 freakin dollars!!! However, they realized they priced em wrong, and reset it to 85 bucks the next day. Dam....I lucked out. I just wanted another one to open for that kinda deal! It looks like a bitch to transform though.

The real advantage of nowadays Transformers are the improved articulation compaired to G1 figures. It shouldn't be impaired by useless light and sound effects. But I wonder if we will ever have a Transformers figure which transforms battery driven.

Get Nightwatch Leader Prime. He will have more replay value that Bumblebee. Bumblebee is a lot of fun, but is cumbersome and a little limited due to the electronics. Once his initial novelty wears off, Prime will still be just as novel.

I just...I absolutely loathe the figure. Overpriced and over-gimmicked IMO. Ultimate BB could have been so much better if it weren't for the electronics. The transformation is ok, though the fact that you have to remove and reattach parts is just...bleh. Everything wrong with the figure really just stems from the damn electronics. Maybe worth it on clearance..but other than that, no.

That is a very impressive toy but I didn't hear you say how much it costs?. I imagine it's expensive. Also was wondering how fragile it is. Often toys that come apart such as the door piece you need to reattatch, get worn out and start to fall off. That was awesome. I might just have to buy one of them. Keep'em comin.
