@ImVayne I know I'm not 7sloth, but good decent quality brands would be Ibanez, Esp, Schecter, and many others. Usually not too pricey. He shouldn't worry about it, most bassists don't start off with boutique-quality gear anyway.

The array, to start off with it's light as a feather, good sound, looks good, doesn't dive, and it has a built in pre-amp for about 200 or so, damn good bass to begin with, I went from it to a traben Havoc John moyer 5 string signature and holyyy shit lol kickass bass but the signature was like 650 ish but it's been worth it so far lol

Hey man. I know I'm not one for giving much advise but one thing I might be able to point out is if you keep ur fret fingers arched more over the board u can reduce playing fatigue.
