Totally agree with gamingpixie - this was one of the classiest statements ever made on a competitive talent show. The stylishness and talent of Prince Poppycock is equalled by the grace and dignity of John Quayle. I am his biggest fan in Italy! Ciao a tutti, e Viva il Principe!
I really like that there is diversity in talent. I wish that canada had a show like this there are so many great unconventional artist out there. Support them and love who they are.

when poppycock was called up to the stage with grasso im like oh no is this the end of poppycock :O!!! i started to cry a little before poppycock made it through, then when his name was called i jumped up and started screaming and i was so happy then john/poppycock said something that really played with my emoitions and i started to cry even more i am an out sider in school but poppcock gives me hope
it was so sweet when he goes "For all the kids who feel picked on i want you to believe life is magical and dreams DO come true." I almost started crying!!!! :'(
Michael Grasso's trick can be figured out if one sees the act again... the box opens from the back... the other girl is behind the tent... I found it not THAT amazing and did not deserve a standing novation! But Poppycock...he IS a show, WOW!
This is totally UNFAIR for the Prince, Michael and FG..Jackie s been well-known on utube for like a year and got milions of fans be4 this show started..thats why she has the most amount of votes...
Every contestant, especially John, Mike and the col guys, has to start at 0 but her!! Im not going to deny her talent but i have a feeling that this show belongs to her...plus she joined in the show when it was half way to the end...so upset ab that..
Grasso is going to go on to great things. The glory abaout a show like this is that it tends to happen for everyone. I mean look at Recycled Precussion. They didn't win, and yet they're still just as if not more succesful than K.S. Even look at Taylor! His first single is coming out soon and he's going on tour next summer! Trust me, the winner isn't the only one who gets fame and fourtune.

@DavChio Having had the experiences of both singing and performing the big magic illusions, I'd be inclined to disagree. Singing well takes a lot more work (some of it usually unconscious) than performing illusions well does. There are a lot of simple tricks in magic; there are none in singing.
You are, of course, entitled to your own opinion, but those are my two cents! :)

Grasso did an absolutely amazing act and everyone including the judges was just astounded. how the hell didn't he make it? he is already a performer all he needed was some capital money to build a big show. I personally would pay as much as i did for david copperfield to see him.
What was really touching about the Prince's words is that it was *John Quale* speaking, not his stage persona. You could hear so much in his voice: the pain he went through in the past, his joy at the present and how far he's come, his hope for the future, which he shared with everyone who is where he once was. It sounded as if he was close to tears.

All acts last night were amazing and deserve great career. PP is the whole package and deserves to be the winner. Amazing how he is booed at the start of his first audition and then becomes the alfa act. Some people call him a mediocre singer, they are oh so wrong and ignorant. Many big stars don't even have the guts to sing live and lipsync on stage. Just listen to Enrique Iglesias, his voice is altered by tuning effects, as a sound engineer I can hear that. Speaking about mediocresy.....
No singers on next season of AGT please. Poppycock doesn't count though, as he has the whole theatrical show and isn't just a singer. Michael Grimm and Jackie Evancho were going to get record deals and be mega successful anyway because of Simon Cowell. Magicians like Michael Grasso don't have that luxury and really needed a AGT win to be promoted properly.
@Esperu2008 You'd think. But this is how Simon Cowell works: For Britain's Got Talent a couple of years ago, Susan Boyle became the centre of attention and pegged to win the show. Due to varying circumstances, she came in second and a dance group called Diversity won. Simon Cowell signed and promoted Boyle as if she won the show. Cowell didn't pick up Diversity to represent as a promoter. We think it's a talent show, but really it's for singers that don't fit the mould of 'Idol' or XFactor shows
I'm thrilled that Prince Poppycock went through, but I really liked Michael Grasso as well. I'd pay to see both their shows! Pity I'm on the wrong continent.

I don't know which is worse - America giving up a talented magician like Grasso, or America choosing a fruitbag like poppycock to be in the finals... It's stupid. Only in America would they find a guy prancing around in heels a talent.
So thrilled Poppycock advanced. I was sure Grasso and Poppycock would both advance, but I was proven wrong. Still, I'm glad Poppycock got through. It's like Howie said. They tell each of em they can headline a show....but Poppycock IS a show.
WTF! I wanted both to make it through, how come that decision doesn't come true when they were both good, and last week or the week before when 4 contestants went through and they didn't even deserve it (Mathews) but he's got potential.
Gender doesn't determine titles in Royalty. Station does. "Highness" and "Majesty" are interchangeable though "Majesty" is usually reserved for a King or Queen, while "Highness" is used for lower stations such as a Prince.

They're both phenomenal, I wish they would've both gotten through. But Poppycock has ALWAYS been my favorite. I'm always rooting for him. Sad to see Grasso go. Hope he continues to push on!!
I am just as surprised as Piers was. Grasso was one of the better magicians we have ever see on this show, because of the way that he presents his act.
But I'm glad Prince Poppycock got through because his voice is super epic. And his character is just flat out awesome.

Due to varying circumstances, she came in second and a dance group called Diversity won. Simon Cowell signed and promoted Boyle as if she won the show. Cowell didn't pick up Diversity to represent as a promoter. We think it's a talent show, but really it's for singers that don't fit the mould of 'Idol' or XFactor shows

I really hope Michael Grasso has a great career. He's one of the best magicians I have seen in a long time.

Gender doesn't determine titles in Royalty. Station does. "Highness" and "Majesty" are interchangeable though "Majesty" is usually reserved for a King or Queen, while "Highness" is used for lower stations such as a Prince.

I am just as surprised as Piers was. Grasso was one of the better magicians we have ever see on this show, because of the way that he presents his act.
But I'm glad Prince Poppycock got through because his voice is super epic. And his character is just flat out awesome.
