  • i live here in alamosa and my father is the project manager of sunedison they are going alot of great projects this bein one of them they also did the high school here in alamosa

  • You might be able to find some answers at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, CO. They are working with SunEdison on that project.

  • Answers to a couple of your questions:

    * Why put the panels at 7500 feet? Well, the Alamosa Valley in general has the best solar resources in Colorado, and the cooler temperatures at altitude helps the performance of the modules.

    * Why are the panels facing east instead of south? Because they are on single-axis trackers, which follow the sun throughout the day from east to west.

  • My cousin is the COO (Brian Robertson). From what I gather, they are doing some big things.
