in 1997 blacpool had a out door market on the street till 11pm at night now; the shops ;have the robbers... not the same blackpool at all

Why on earth would you make the effort to to do this? Youve just made a video with stupid comments on it. That sounds stupid in itself if you ask me. Every place on earth had days like this...rainy..cold...quite. Your not going to get a packed beach when its tipping it down are you? I absolutely adore Blackpool. As for the streets that smell etc...they dont. Ok you get a few streets that smell awful (like in MANY MANY other towns) but not all the streets.

@anarchy41 I Live in blackpool. And i ADORE it too. I've lived here now for almost 7 years! Yeah, it has its shitty days, but what place doesnt?? The Prom looked like a building site because they were doing it up to look better. You should get your arse back here when the season starts again, and just look at it now. Its stunning!!!! Blackpool is trying to get its self back to the way it used to be, but somehow, taking hits from chobs like you slagging it off, aint gonna help.

I love Blackpool, even though i live here its always fab. I walk along the prom alot and have never once been beaten up or have never had any troube at all. Tacking videos of Blackpool on a stormy day probably explains why there was nobody about, lol.

they wont get families back because the seafront attractions like the tower dr who and sea life are too expensive for the average family if they went in that would be most of the days money gone . as for the pleasure beach, its a disgrace charging £5 a head just to walk round. £20 for a family to have a walk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must of been driving down the Prom very early in the Morning.

I live there and can tell you for a fact,that several of main arcades that appear with there shutters down on your video open every single day during season.And if it October in your Video,you will also know its one of the busiest periods with the illuminations on every night.

anybody watching this crap video will no doubt believe that the maker is being honest when he declares a drive down bpool prom in peak season well let me confirm that it is indeed bpool prom but dont make me laugh when you say peek season because it is obviously not,obviouse because all the central arcades are shut and there are hardly any illuminations up leaving me to believe its prob in jan or feb so dont be hoodwinked that this is blackpool at its best cos its not.i love bpool all yr round

I still enjoy going there though even though it is not the same. Like to walk on the prom and go on the North Pier.Shame though about them taking the organist off from the Sun Lounge . Have not been there since 2004 but hope to go back over next summer
