There were devotees working with Srila Prabhupada back in the day. While Srila Prabhupada did not care for the Hare Krsna trance songs, devotees were allowed to perform what inspired them to help others who preferred those rythims N rymes. Whatever increases your devotion do that, if not, don't.

Prabhupada only said: Oh very well, there is Hare Krsna written over there , so it is progression for the soul no matter what.He didnt care for the bad words before or after it, he didnt see the faults. He saw only Krsna in everything, that is Krsna consciousness, and not only in India.but in your heart first of all...so please....

@hp11208 Srila Prabhupada did not get mad at George Harrison for injecting Krishna into rock music... I highly doubt he'd be upset with people injecting it into rap. A lot of people only listen to rap. Some karmi kids don't want to hear traditional bajan, they wana hear some dumb rapper. We might as well give them some intelligent rappers to listen to.
