straight hair can also be in the breeding program, but for where ever the coat is wavy, curly you can straighten by brushing with a pin brush and drying with warm air.

I would recommend that you add a 1/2 teaspoon of our Ultra Silk Cream & a teaspoon of our Ultra Light Oil (with Jojoba) to the Ultra moisturizing conditioner

How to keep water out of the ears :)?

Just take care to cover the ears when you are bathing. There are products on the market that help dry the ears out after bathing. I use cotton swabs and a drying powder.

Try working with your shih tzu a little bit every day. They have to feel it is part of their normal routine. The key is getting them comfortable with the noise.

The products you use have a huge effect on the matting issues. With a double coated breed like the shih tzu it is very important to have products that are appropriate for their coat type.
