I went through jump school with Recon Marines and we thought they were a pretty crazy lot. But 1200 feet there are no Marines or Paratroops only brothers in arms.
Airborne and Marines are elite premier fighting units. They are expected to sustain high casuality rates to punch holes in an enemy line for conventional forces to exploit. But the US military is the only military in the world that protects the country so every four years we can elect a new bunch of clowns and make fools of ourselfs

Only one earns the Pfc stripe out of boot ,be the one Work hard Not only during boot ,but thru all advance training also. @xaaopbbx that a heavy choice of words who do you consider undeserving I am a former MCJROTC cadet we wore our uniforns for weekly inspection and community and xchool events although most of us were hell bent on enlisting I see no problem with that sure we may not have earned the right to wear the EGA but we werent passing ourselves of as Marines (not all of us atleast) but that is not to say we didnt act as such everyone in that battalion knew what was expected of them when in uniform.

@MultiBaldEagle Well, from what i was told, that wasn't the reason. That was what i came up with in my head, but they never told me that was the reason. It was due to the draw down of the Air Force because we'd exceeded the number of active personnel in service, so they let those who wanted a honorable discharge and seperate, do so. People who'd had not reached 20 years of service were screwed BIG TIME. Anyway, I'd had enough of the military life and wanted to go to school.

@yesiamawizardjonny I was 28 and had to be in boot camp by 29 which was like 4 months away. The sergeant didn't wanna sign me up. They said they had enough people. I even went back to school and got my GED and had to get college credits just to join Marines. I should of went like a year earlier. But its all good. I still got love for the USMC and all the other service!!!

@xaaopbbx that a heavy choice of words who do you consider undeserving I am a former MCJROTC cadet we wore our uniforns for weekly inspection and community and xchool events although most of us were hell bent on enlisting I see no problem with that sure we may not have earned the right to wear the EGA but we werent passing ourselves of as Marines (not all of us atleast) but that is not to say we didnt act as such everyone in that battalion knew what was expected of them when in uniform.

@CPFCMCJROTC Well, your braver than I. Even though i was in the military, i was let go in part to the fact of my refusal to go to Afghanistan. I mean i'm not really sweating because i was honorably discharge and still get a check every month from the gov't for college. Do i miss it, no. I made a couple close friends, but that's about it. In today's society, if your wanting to go into the military, your ass better be dedicating your life and willing to possibly get killed over it. I didn't.

@MultiBaldEagle Well, from what i was told, that wasn't the reason. That was what i came up with in my head, but they never told me that was the reason. It was due to the draw down of the Air Force because we'd exceeded the number of active personnel in service, so they let those who wanted a honorable discharge and seperate, do so. People who'd had not reached 20 years of service were screwed BIG TIME. Anyway, I'd had enough of the military life and wanted to go to school.

Yeah, i was in the military and so what if i didn't serve in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have enough sense God gave me to realize that once you sign on that dotted line, your a slave to the government, just another name and number. Once you die, they bury you in the ground, boo-hoo for a minute and move on to the next person. That's why i refused to go over there and put my life on the line for anyone else. I HAVE SENSE, which alot of you all don't posess. Do i regret it, nope, not one single bit.

@yesiamawizardjonny I was 28 and had to be in boot camp by 29 which was like 4 months away. The sergeant didn't wanna sign me up. They said they had enough people. I even went back to school and got my GED and had to get college credits just to join Marines. I should of went like a year earlier. But its all good. I still got love for the USMC and all the other service!!!

I may not be a marine but my father, great uncle and some cousins are Marines so i can deeply understand the meaning of the Uniform and the sacrifice that was made to wear it.
50 and his cronies should never have disgraced the Eagle Globe and Anchor in that way, i am surprised they even got permission from the DOD to wear the uniform like that.

Aside from the fact that a poser (50 cent) is depicted wearing our uniform, this video is all the way UNSAT. And for all the posters claiming to be Marines, thanks for reflecting so poorly upon the Corps by throwing the "N" word out there so gratuitously.
