It's Geoge singing for sure...but the track sounds wonky as heck to me...slide similar but not in the same league as GH...(George on a really bad day...or take 1...maybe...)
@FrlghtWolf Really? Who would have written 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' or...some of their bigger last hits like 'Here Comes The Sun' and 'Something'?
I usually don't get into this kind of stuff but you really did a GREAT job. A lot of hard work I'm sure. Gves us all a chance to hear what it might have turn out to be. Thanks!
Translation for ricksuchow: George was increasing in inspiration, creativity, and took Beatles thru' walls of sound that the others never knew. The triple ATMP demonstrate his talent, though he stayed in the golden shadow created by P and J. George is a conplete artist, pure and sincere, so far in commercial directions.I get tired of being beatle Ted (or Jeff)....
@ricksuchow Here is the transaltion: In 1970 George was good as composer and his ego was really higher to be only a dime in the band...(cheaper then a dime..wah wah) George is a sincere artist, so far from show biz logic. This song tells about all those years spent in the golden cage of fame as people didin't knew his ....name.(Ted or Jeff?)....Hare Krishna.
such a great song...every track that comes off that demo is a great version and for some the only version of unbelievable songs. I think Run of The Mill is such a great acoustic but the finished product wasn't that great to me, it seemed to be a product of the 70s style when it could of been just George and a acoustic....If your a Beatles fan or Harrison fan gotta check out ABKCO and Acoustic Masterpieces...best Harrison stuff out and their all just him alone which is crazy..

OK 1 dislikes George... now we know how many assholes it takes to fill the Albert hall!

Obviously not recorded in 1970. Everything about the "sonic world" doesn't match the time period.

Ugh! Can we stop all this myth-making? George was a good soldier. He did what he was told. His
weak voice and pedestrian guitar playing didn't
hurt the Beatles. John and Paul's music with George
Martin at the controls was simply too good. We can
all pity George...the poor man struggled with music.
It did not come easy to him. Likely, for his sake...he
probably shouldn't have ever gotten into music. But
we don't need to LIE for him.

@FrlghtWolf So now we know your opinion. Do tell us of your body of work?

@saidas108 -Musically, I'm a retard. That's why I
know George is a fake. Had YOU or I been the lead
guitarist there would be little difference in the quality
and the success of their music. Pick anybody...and I
mean ANYBODY to replace George (or Ringo) and
you have no difference! The driving force, the engine
and the genius behind the Beatle's success was John
and Paul's magnificent melodies, lyrics and harmonies.
Add George Martin behind the controls and you have
perfection!

It's an acoustic demo, available on the Beware of ABKCO bootleg. Somebody's added stuff to it (and done a pretty good job).

@bigstripeydave damn, no shit? That guitar overdub made me smile; I knew it was George. You mean it ain't? Damn, that's a good job.

Any info on the recording date of this particular track? It doesn't sound much like an "All Things Must Pass" track. Sounds like a later recording.
