That's very true.
I think the fact that all the birds are so calm, and interact with the visitors, and walk on the pathway while it is crowded, and even build a nest and lay an egg in it just four feet from the walkway, is all evidence of the very good care they receive at the Zoo.
And, remember, the birds have only been in the McNeil Avian Center for about six weeks - so they adjusted really quickly!
