Hollywood unions are very differant to normal unions, they make deals with companies so that only unions members can work for them, forcing you to join the union, yes it has other benefits, but it is also a form of this so called 'intimidtion (though honestly that's stretching it)

I'm sure she doesn't mind the wages and benefits fought for by collective bargaining, but she doesn't want to pay dues and participate. People don't join a union because they're scared. Most members are passionate about protecting workers rights and middle class families. The rest acknowledge that the unions offer them a better deal.

Thank God union membership is dwindling. I would like to say I had a big part of that since I've been donating to the National Right to Work Legal Foundation for over 20 years.

It's time to put an end to artificially inflated union wages that rip off the American public.

@Tasador123 If I was President, I would outlaw all unions and declare them to be terrorist organizations, then hit them with both RICO and the Patriot Act, then round up and execute all their members and supporters or send them to Gitmo, and seize all their assets and property.

as if the entertainment industry can't afford to pay professional, talented workers what they deserve. Unions exist for a reason. The labor movement brought you workers rights laws and weekends, to name a few.

Not all unions are perfect but no organization is perfect.

You can always find someone to do something for cheaper...does that mean thats the market wage? No. And you get what you pay for.
