  • Very nicely played - I like your tone too....nice and smooth and cutting through.

One thing I always loved about this piece is how the sweeping arpeggios sound very piano-like and are dropped right back in the mix - which made working it out by ear a slight challenge (God I am old all of a sudden - this was almost 20 years ago) but well worth the perseverance at the time.

    Anyway - beautiful job

  • You are a boss.

Saludos

  • what kind of tone setting u use??

  • @swordstauker Hm back then I was just running my LTD MH-201 all-stock through a Marshall MG250DFX with some reverb on the FX channel. The settings I think were about 8-7-8 for Hi, Mid, Bass. Now I go with 8-5-8 usually, get a bit more distinction between the frequencies.

  • Is this at 126 bmp ????

im trying to learn it but dont realy know how fast to go

    Great playing btw !!

  • Yeah that's about right.

Well, I'll tell you this much. If you're trying to learn it then just go slow. Play it clean and slowly. Once you can play all of it slowly speed up a bit. Every now and then just to remind yourself o your goal challenge your fingers and try to play it fast. You'll probably find you can't really do it fast for more than a few bars. Then just keep practicing slow to fast.

    Good luck, friend!

  • what's it sound like when you turn off distortion i'm curious? it looks like you're picking really really softly.

  • I actually pick pretty hard.
