  • i deleted my old minecraft folder to reinstall minecraft now i cant find it no matter what

  • ok i tried it on lion now but the library folder is not under my name

  • @123a4560 Use Finder>Go menu>Go To Folder... and type in: ~/Library

    This will locate your *personal* library and Application Support and then minecraft are easy to find.

  • ok my problem is on my new mac with lion I can't open the folder with the go to but I also don't have the Library folder

  • @123a4560 Just go to your home holder, the little house with your username, then the Library folder then Application Support then Minecraft

  • Just do that to library and make an alias of your minecraft folder and put it on your desktop

  • @TheAngelromo It's easier in Snow Leopard. Just browse to Library/Application Support/minecraft

  • Will I still be able to find the folder when I downloaded it for free from a YouTube vid?

  • @buddylegend23 If you have the latest version. Also, I'd advise you to buy a real copy of the game, it is worth it if you play a lot and it helps support independent developers.

    Do you have the latest version of Minecraft? You need version 1.6+ I think.
