He said it right, after the aircraft gets repaired, it is going to fly with people on board. The thing about that is, while the pilot's responsibility for safety ends when he sets the parking break and gets off the plane, the federally licenced mechanic's responsibility for that repair goes on every flight that aircraft makes. If that pressure dome fails at some point in the future, they're going to want to hang the mechanic.
