  • AHAHAH, that's so damn tight man. I'm actually getting ready to head over the guitar center right now to see if I can return my AXIOM 49 and get a KP3.

  • how did you get the ds hooked up to the other machine

  • hedphone socket, use a jack plug. then at the end of the wire have a RED and WHITE plug. plug that in the back of the korg kp3 in the "input in" then, on the ds, plug the jack plug in the ds hedphone socket (on the front). contact me if it dosent work.

  • The cable that goes from headphones to red and white is also called a Y cable :)

  • versteh ich nich was ich da sehe

  • and dont get it!

but it sounded pretty good and you got lots of views

    nice

  • I dont get it*

  • Sry but LOL @ bymistakeofgods comment

  • is that sound made by you or is it in the game ?

  • bymistakeofgod: The game is Electroplankton. It's basically a sort of weird sound-making peculiar thingie for the DS. The Kaoss Pad samples some of the sounds you make with elektroplankton and then you manipulate in realtime. Very nice :)

  • Sweet. Thanks for posting it.

  • what is it called with the DS?

  • elektroplankton is the game for DS that he is using

  • thats so cool!

  • Electroplankton + KAOSS Pad 3 = Hotness!!!

  • Very very cool.

    Impressive, electroplanktons is awesome.

  • I LOVE this... how does your setup work? Is it just the Korg and the DS? Or does it need to be hooked up to a keyboard/synth to work? Or what's the deal?

  • Very Cool!!!I go and by me now both machines. Its fun..

  • EEERRRR Whats taht ohter thing that luiks like a Nintendo DS or is ti :s

    xxxx

  • Yeah, Sonic Seasonics--esp. the spring side for me--if I'm not mistaken, Switched On Bach is still the best-selling classical album of all time. Glad a bunch of Wendy's stuff is being reissued w/extensive liner notes & extra tracks.

  • Your point being? People who like synths are nerds.

  • Wow. You are an arrogant cunt. Have fun with that.

  • This is brilliant. I was thinking of getting a KP3, but now I'm definitely getting one!!!

  • great video mate...congrats for the creative way to use both machines...very cybertech sounds...sometimes ambient and so on...I Have the KP 2 and still Im getting more from it...eventhough Im into the trance style...keep it up !!!

    cheers !!!

  • hahaha that is fucking awesome

  • that was absolutely brilliant!

  • shit that was hot dude

  • booooooooring

  • "Well-tempered touch screen", eh? Imagine if Wendy Carlos had a KP3

    !!!

  • Yea! He would have a field day!

  • Carlos is certainly the pioneer .. !!!

  • My fave track of his has to be 'Timesteps' or maybe one of the Sonic Seasonings.

  • What a cool and surrythmic groovy beat. Discovered today both DS Lite + Electroplankton and now KP3 with this surnatural magic fingers mixing both. New horizons !!! Break in my brain !!! Thanx and congratulations !

  • F A N T A S T I C ! ! !

    Very creative!

  • Oooooh, awesome!

  • That is really cool how do you suppose he connected the ds with kp3?

  • through the headphones jack with a microplug to rca adapter.

  • your genius:)man

  • It's elektroplankton and I have it for DS too! It was the reason I bought a DS to begin with after seeing Dave Hollands demo it last year! I was planning on picking up a KP3 soon and I didn't even think of how cool this combo would be!

  • awesome stuff man.

  • absolutely cool!

  • How does the DS connect to the KP3?

  • DS Audio out (3.5mm Headphone Jack) to Kp3 Audio in (Stereo-Cinch).

Audio from DS is sampled, looped and FX-processed in KP3.

  • That is actually fantastically innovative, kudos =).

  • thanx! :)

  • Is this the DS Lite? I have the original DS and my headphone jack is located in the front and the last time I tried recording Elektroplankton to my Mac the damn cable kept slipping out! I think the new DS Lite's headphone jack is in the back and wouldn't fall out so easy...

  • thats cool. what game is that on the DS?

  • it´s "Electroplankton"

  • Nice work.

  • Dude, i am not gonna say that sucked... but.... I am going to say that was awesome! God to think you actually found something interesting for the Nintendo DS to do. I am still waiting for my kp3 to come in to the guitar center I work at. good job dude.

  • WTF? DS rocks!
