Absolutely love this gun.I bought mine off gunbroker for $450 with cpl-rm-r laser in with the deal. When I received the box it read 'contrast' sights, opened it up and score! Night sights! Got lucky off of this deal. This gun is a favorite and highly underrated but I know what it's capable of...just like the S&W 3rd gen pistols.Congrats on the new score. Those are some nice pistols you got there!
@dekskii "Failure to Feed"-Round doesn't make it into the chamber, "Failure to Fire"-Click instead of a boom. & "Failure to Eject"-The round doesn't fully eject itself form the chamber or stovepipes.
@wolvee123 got it, i actually just bought this today!!!! i am juiced, ten days are killing me. can you point me in any direction for cheap magazines or any parts I can buy for this fire arm?
I hate it when i read up on some stuff and it's rated really high, then i buy it and find that it's made really cheaply. It is what it is... !! :) gratz on the new toy.
@JCP281 I've owned them all and I say that is a hard choice, lol. I don't envy your decision. The M&P45 shoots like a 9mm with the proper training and looks good doing it. The 15-22 is a great and near flawless training aid for it's bigger .223/5.56 counterpart. The SP2022 is a good choice as well although if my choice is between it and the .45, I'd have to say the .45 gets the nod. (If ammo cost isn't the main factor in deciding.) Smith did it right with the M&P. Good luck choosing.

I love mine, just got it Friday. I havnt got to the range yet but I can't wait. However mine does have the loaded indicator on the top of the slide... Go figure
@Trolling365 I have started to have some ejecting issues that I can't explain. The Sig Pro is going back to sig to be looked at. Sig's QC has went down noticeably since the new CEO took over but after a quick trip to Sig I'm sure I'll have a life long gun. The design and function is bar none one of the best out there but with everything, If QC is not monitored closely you get some turds. This doesn't turn me off from Sig.
just a quick tip, you dont have to pull the slide back to install the take down pin.just gently put the takedown pin in 805 of the way with the slide on and in battery then bring the notch back and push it in the rest of the way. great deal by the way, i paid $470 otd for mine with 15round mag and n/s. i agree noone should pay more than $500 otd for a sig pro unless its a swiss or german made one with trip serials.
@Ferris2son 50 rounds through it so far and it was flawless but I got tired of loading the same mag over and over again so that "new car smell" wore of pretty quick, lol. I'll update everyone how it goes and I as I shake it out.

dekskii 1 month ago
@dekskii depends on what you want, need or are only restricted by to own. I like the max I can have so ten rounds stink.

@dekskii Topgunsupply is the best place I've found for parts and mags. Midwayusa usually runs good deal too.

I might be wrong, but I think the reason yours is different is that it's German made.
