Obama sets himself apart because he released his tax returns, released his bundlers, doesn't take PAC money, doesn't take federal lobbyist money. He freely admits he gets donations from all sorts of bundlers. That's why Obama is pushing for campaign finance reform: As it is, you can't win without taking bundler money.

I'm not sure where your info is coming from. To cite an example, Obama has taken about 160,000 dollars from Exeleon, which is the country's largets nuclear power company. THIS is why he is proposing the unsafe nuclear energy alternative to foreign oils instead of simply cutting back on CO2 emissions.

I think Ron Paul is a very intelligent and good man. But even Paul himself says he's most likely not going to win the GOP nomination. Out of all the Republicans running, I'd pick Ron Paul. But let's face facts - after eight years of George W. Bush, you're not going to see a Republican President in 2008. Nothing against Republicans (I'm pretty conservative myself), but Bush fucked it up for his Party. I don't think you can argue that.

I have noticed that Paul has had no problem raising money for his campaign, the majority of which is coming from private individuals (November 5). Bush was supposed to have destroyed his party's chances four years ago. Wouldn't some question the Dem's effectiveness after they gained majority and did nothing with it?
