  • Its hard to believe that so many people have nothing better to do than find a video and rant on it....and of course, tell the world how you are a much better person than anyone in the video. You don't eat meat? Good for you. CLAP, CLAP. I do. I also raise it. Believe me, decent producers do all they can to keep their animals healthy, happy and as stress free as possible. Otherwise, you won't make as much money. Tell us about what you do. I bet some will disagree with your choices. Grow up.

  • Pffffff Humane My ass

  • What about the sows? They don't get to leave the sow stalls, do they?

  • @strawberryfification I agree. They look like they can't even turn around in those pens. That is totally INHUMANE! Yea, for this video they were "nice". Did you see the way they picked up those piglets. That kids was so camera shy and he made sure he handled then nice. Looks like a setup to me.

  • Very informational thank you for sharing. I personally think working with pigs would be fun

  • The anti vegan, pro meat eating, and pro cruelty comments here are comical.......as well as sad, moronic, uninformed, etc.

  • Man those ribs look delicious.

  • Must be nice making a living as a murderer.

  • @thestreetsempty : Must be nice seeing everything in terms of black and white.

  • @tony4245 Given that you think some animals are to be eaten and some animals are to be glorified, maybe you shouldn't assume / accuse others of black and white thinking.

The issue of human entitlement, speciesism, and animal exploitation industries is multi-layered.

I am aware of how these industries impact the animals being exploited, the human consumers/beneficiaries, third-world countries, and the environment. And how there is no justification for these industries.

    You? Not so much.

  • @thestreetsempty Mind your own business. If you're a vegetarian or a vegan that's entirely your choice. And I prefer my pork and other meat be humanely raised and dispatched before becoming part of my next meal.

  • @thestreetsempty Dumbass, its called life. If we were all nice and ate grass and vegetables then there would not be 7 billion people on this planet. Instead there would probably be a 1/10 of that. Thus you probably would not be here so be thankful. It takes A LOT of meat to keep this people in this world alive. So its not cruel for lions to take up to 20 minutes to painfully suffocate a wildebeast? Thats how it survives. And farms are how WE survive.

  • @thestreetsempty they're pigs. we are humans, we eat other animals. deal with it: its called nature. i love bacon, ribs, and loin chops and I will eat them until I die thank you very much.

  • @thestreetsempty you're awesome :3

  • That is cruel

  • makin me hungry

  • Natural to hold them by the back legs? Yep, right. Do you use gestational crates too? Pitiful!! I raise animals organically, fresh air and room to roam. Better for the animal and better meat to boot.

  • @Miss65boo good luck feeding the world that way. gestational crates are the most stress free, cost-effective way to house sows. If sows are placed in pens with others, they beat the crap out of each other. Real humane I know....also notice how when piglets don't squeal at all when picked up by the hind legs, but when they are picked up in the "nice" way, it goes crazy.

  • @littlescott007 you can't feed the whole world with meat. You actually waste a huge amount of real food with animal agriculture. 80% of grains in the US alone is fed to livestock, grain we can feed to the poor and hungry. Plant foods are more nutritious, abundant, and keep much better than meat. And dont tell me meat is more nutritious, because it's not. Humans are more herbivorous than we like to think, our bodies need plants so why is so much filtered through wasteful means? we dont need this.

  • @BiohazardBunney I don't know about you but I actually like meat, its kinda tastes good with BBQ sauce.

And I am going to go out on a limb an assume you cant "pass" corn. But 90% of butchering animals can. So there is 60% of the 80% of the grains you were talking about. We eat meat, for fucking christ sake. I have read hundreds of these comments and its getting old. Don't watch the videos if you don't like meat. If you don't watch it then it cant upset you.

  • @BiohazardBunney

We can't survive on just grains alone. Our diet needs meat, it's what the meat contains that we need. We've been hunting since the dawn of time. As developing humans, we followed where the meat went. In America, the Indians and new comers followed where the meat went. So you can't say we'd be fine without meat. Go any where in this world and you'll find all cultures eating meat, not just plants. We can't survive off of just plants and grains.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY You can get all the nutrition you need w/o eating meat.

  • @SChoolsFaOl

I disagree unless you take a shit ton of supplements with it to make sure your body won't be deprived of what it needs. I'd rather get what my body needs the natural way, by eating meat, than to put god knows what of a supplement down my throat.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY What an moronic comment... what's in meat that you don't think you can get from a natural non-meat source?

  • @SChoolsFaOl

Moronic, really? One reason why I hate trying to defend myself is when someone says something like that. Just because I am defending my view point doesn't make my comments moronic. Keep it civil. As far as things you won't get enough of is Folate, B12 and B6. I'm sure a few other things.

  • @BLiSSFULxFiLLY I would not call you a moron if this was an opinion question, but it's not. How should i respond when you site Folate as being only attainable through meat? Do you realize the best source is leafy greens? B12 cheese has more of it than beef does... and B6 vegetables and grains will easy give you all you need.

  • @BiohazardBunney Uh..actually we are omnivores..just like pigs. We even have sharp carnivore teeth, as well as grinding teeth. I know it's hard, being so removed from nature to stomach seeing our meat processed, but it is natural. Hopefully our food system never breaks down, making it necessary for you to hunt and gather, as our ancestors did, you will probably not make it.

  • @ethanm3 how is using foreign tools to process animal meat 'natural'? if we were predators, we would have claws, fangs, speed, and more facial strength. Those sharp teeth are not for tearing flesh, they are evolved from our ape ancestors, apes who have sharper fangs than us today, who are herbivores. they use their fangs for fighting, we don't, so ours are much smaller. continued...

  • @ethanm3 and we can't digest rotten meat, it's dangerous to consume it raw. why? if we are meant to eat it, we should be eating it raw and bloody. but we don't. we eat it deep fried, slathered in ketchup and onions, stuck between bread. A hamburger is not a natural food. we may be the most intelligent animal, it doesn't make us the most powerful. you're living in a fantasy world if you think humans are apex predators. we have no predatory physiology. we're not cavemen, we can evolve.

  • That is not a proper way to handle the piglets :(

  • freedom or food. Pigs will only go for food.

  • @onepointpoint they're being bred as pets now. More people are recognizing them as more intelligent, social and playful animal than food.

the only reason we eat them is because of salt, not necessity.

  • Well let's see the "nursery".
