  • I love weimeys!!

  • your dogs are living the life 5:35

  • A few products I go back to over and over are: one for body lotion and best value - Curel (after one application I saw a diff in my skin and apply it to my neck during the day). For best once a week exfoliation, Neutrogena Pore Minimizer in the tube - use with light movements over skin removes flaky skin etc. Bath and Body Works Triple Moisture Body Lotion - if you want a strong scented lotion. All are under $15 CA.

  • It starts at 2:50

  • is that a visla?

  • @linabutterfly27 No, a Weimaraner. Check out my Furry Friends tag video-you'll learn all about my dogs.

  • is that a visla u have?

  • This video is worth watching. Thanks for sharing. I've used Lavis anti aging products for many years. And even today, the complexion of my skin is getting more brightened as days pass by. My skin looks younger and quite refreshing. Lavis products suits all skin types and available at reasonable prices.

  • I love it. I will definitely share this with all of my Facebook friends. Is this the same as REGENEVIVE from Lavis? I am going to look that up right now.

  • I love your house!!!! It is so pretty = )

  • I have been using this product for a number of years now and I just love it. My skin looks great. I am 60 now and no one believes I am that old. (Love the compliments I received in March on my 60th birthday.)

Try it . Best deal ever!

  • This video was suggested to me even though I'm still in my teens and not in need of anti-aging products yet. I watched it nevertheless and thought it was very informative!

You remind me of my stepmom - which is a huge compliment because she's beautiful and lovely. You're the same age, and you both still look like you're in your 20s! My dad is in his 40s and I think people think he's a cradle robber sometimes based on how she looks, haha. You two are proof that anti-aging products can work! : )

  • @SkylarkMelody Thank you! As long as she's not your "evil" stepmother, I appreciate the compliment! As for you, the best thing you can do is slather on that sunscreen! I wish I could go back and do that! And don't forget your hands-that's the first area that shows age!!

  • REGARDING PEELS. If you want an at home peel that isn't scary is mixing gelatin and a teaspoon of cow's milk, warm for 10 seconds and apply to pores/face. Let dry and peel away. Gross but effective!! :)

  • Hi Msgoldgirl love your videos its so informative. Wanted to know the best anti wrinkle neck cream?? or which one you would recommend for a v dry skin??

  • @kumudvarghese I have very dry skin, and I love the Olay Regenerist Night Cream. It's in a little lavender jar. I put it all over my face and neck at night.

  • Came across this video by accident, glad I found it, great information, found the link and will review. Love your dogs! *L*

Usually always purchase skincare items in dept. stores but if I can find something compatible that will cost less I'm interested.

  • @nancygsp Let me know what you end up picking out and liking! Glad you found my channel!

  • your so cute!! and so helpfulll i've been debating whether to try boots 7 im only 18 and thought i would start using anti aging serum now untill i'm forever older it might really prevent any wrinkles for years to come thanks for the review it was very helpful!

  • @kisskissh I think at your age the best anti-aging tip is to use sunscreen religiously! Sun damage is the major cause of wrinkles, spots, etc. That, and wash your face every night and moisturize a lot!

  • @MsGoldgirl i use la prairie foundation everyday it has spf in it already, i don't tan at all i'm never under the sun and i have very light skin so i won't age as much cause i'm so light and my skin never sees the sun and i have oily skin so i can't use moisturizer that often and thanks for your advice!

  • @kisskissh There is not enough SPF in foundation to really stop the sun. I use the Neutrogena Sheer Dry block with SPF 55 under my makeup everyday. It's not greasy at all. Also-make sure to put some on your hands. Your hands will show your age so quickly because it's very thin skinned and most people forget to put sunblock on them!

  • Your pup's a scene stealer! :)

  • your beautiful

  • @KandiceXOX1 Thank you! So are you!

  • I actually found a product recently searching the web for an anti-aging body cream. Its an organic all natural body cream that Its suppose to keep your skin soft and looking younger. I only recently started using it but OMG, it keeps my skin so soft. It has some kind of anti-aging oil from south America, andrido or carapa (spelling). Even my husband notice a difference in my skin so I guess its working. The company name is amephas organic.

  • THE WEBSITE LINK IS BROKEN :((((

  • @somuchdepth Just Google Good Housekeeping Anti Aging and it should take you right to the article. I tried it this morning.

  • hi there, i recently heard of this survey, i think maybe paula begoun? im not sure where but it bascially stated that that 90 day trial was funded by boots!.. so not entirely impartial. Also boots basically sell all of those products in their stores. Doesnt mean those products arent good, but it makes it seem slightly dodgy.

  • @lalalady4216 Actually, Good Housekeeping does not do studies that are sponsored by any brands. It was an 18 month study, not a 90 day trial.

  • Thanks for the info...

  • Thanks for the video..

Here is the best anti aging product with a free trial offer

    goo[.]gl/nRDBR

  • Great thanks

    How did I miss this??

  • Thank you for the article. I'm very interested by Wexler eye cream.

  • I hope u can help I have two white spots on my nose like where my sunglass cover what in the heck r they no matter what kind make up cover up I use they stand out hope u can help

  • @2006estrellam I don't know what that might be-you might want to see a dermatologist.

  • I will try a few thanks

  • Beautiful house and dogs

  • Dear MsGoldgirl, thank you so much for the tips. You have really helped me. This was the information I was looking for, and you being budget conscious was a big plus. Sometimes you are just doing what you think you should and you end up being a kind spirit on someone else's path; I would like you to know that your were that helpful to me. And I would also like to reciprocate. I think that if you look for "skin care routine for flawless... By kandee Johnson" (You Tube - another sweet girl) you m

  • @TheLucyLil Thank you Lucy!! That is very sweet of you to say and I am very glad I helped you, even if it was in a small way.

  • What is that gold watch you are wearing? I like it!

  • @hhjjhh09 It's from Target (their brand) and every time I wear I get a rash. I've heard from a few people that they have the same problem. :(

  • I use L'Oreal anti-aging because it really works!! It keep me looking young too!

  • im surprised Roc wasnt on the list. i thought it was supposed to b one of the best dept store quality brands that you could buy at your local drugstore. guess not....

  • @TheAngelWrath It is good, but it didn't make their #1 pick.

  • Hi, I'm trying out two of the products so far, boots #7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum and Vichy Night Liftactiv Retinol HA (which I think tied with L'Oreal for the best night cream). So far I'm really liking it. I have combo skin, oily T with dry cheeks/neck, and I have already (after 2 weeks) notice the dryness is completely gone. My skin is softer to touch and, I don't know how to describe it... plumper?

  • @arethavillebrun Yay! I'm glad it's working for you, and I like getting the feedback from people with different skin types than mine. Glad it's working out for you.

  • no cream will ever stop the aging process, you cant stop aging. Only good genes will give the appearance of youthfulness.....people across the globe look soo youthful, i seen 80 yr olds who look 20! but i dunno why american women age soooo fast, and creams will not help, its just like that theory that a pill can make your hair grow..noooo, ITS GENETICS.

  • Very glad i found this video! thanks for the great info!

  • @Bebe1461 You are welcome!

  • Although empirical research is better than opinion, it is still very easy to twist data and reports to back up preconceived agendas.

  • @fitnesschaser01 OK....

  • I love ur home. It looks like a home out of Better Home and gardens magazine :-)

  • @LizaP46375 Thank you! I love the looks that they do in that magazine!

  • Many thanks for this! I am from London and love love N7 serum! U're beautiful! xxx

  • @NinaHoney3 You live in my favorite city in the world!! Lucky you!

  • @MsGoldgirl Aww, thanks a lot! London is beautiful and you're welcome anytime! <3

  • @NinaHoney3 I'm hoping to make it back this winter...fingers crossed!

  • Your house is soooo beautiful! I hope when I have a family and home it's half as pretty as yours :)

  • @gldnkltz101 Thank you! It's definitely a happy home!

  • @MACwishin2 Thanks!

  • Just found you and subbed. Really liked this video as I am 44 and have been on the hunt for better skin care products especially ones that help eliminate fine lines and such around the eye area. I recently bought a try me kit from Philosophy at Sephora. It was the "makeup optional kit". I have only been using it for about a week and I really think I may stick with this. I got a good comment on my skin yesterday and that NEVER happens. Might be worth looking into if you are interested.

  • @griff2020 That sounds like heaven in a box! What's in it that makes it so good? Oh-thanks for subbing! :)

  • @MsGoldgirl You'd be better off going to the website and looking around than to have me explain it to you. I wouldn't do a good job. Also, QVC is a good place to look at philosophy's products and see reviews as well. I've spent hours reading reviews and honestly, the reviews are really encouraging (on QVC and the website).

  • @griff2020 Good idea-thanks for the QVC tip-I always forget about them!

  • Thank you for this video. I am very interested in this article. I have been using Strivectin and it is expensive. I do not feel it hydrates for me at all, so I am on the lookout for something new. Thank you. :) Becki

  • @VictoriasRoses Hi Becki! I'm glad this video was helpful. It's interesting that the really expensive brands aren't the only way to go for skin care. Sometimes they're great, but sometimes it's just a lot of hype. Thanks for still watching-you were one of my first 20 subscribers!

  • I'll be a video on making "extra lips" will be a big hit. I'm not the only lady who has no lips. You can use this comment in your video: To make your lips stand out, keep smiling. More of your lips will show.

  • Hi there I just subscribed to ur vid and I love the info. I am 34 yes old and have craters on my face from teen acne. Any suggestions on what to use or how to conceal with makeup? Please help if u can. Thanks. Excited for more vids.

  • @sqlara You're not old-you're younger than me! Estee Lauder makes an excellent concealer that can also be used as foundation, so it's great for covering larger areas. It's called Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Coverage and I LOVE it! I will be reviewing it soon in a video but in the meantime go check it out in person at an Estee Lauder counter. They'll even give you a free sample!

  • THanks for this video being a woman in her mid 50's

  • @iamcarolmiley Hope the tips help!

  • Marnie, could you do a lesson on making the upper lip bigger using make up? An old friend used to make my upper lip bigger by putting lip liner higher than the lip and filling in below. I saw in one of your videos that you're not thrilled with your upper lip, but do you ever use make up to make them appear bigger?

  • @TBSulkin Hey Trace-there really isn't a great way to make your lips look bigger. I have a few tricks in mind...outline your lips a TINY bit outside your natural lip line (not a lot, or you'll look like a hooker). Also, put a lighter color in the middle and a bit darker on the outside of your lips. You know, I should just make a video, that would be easier!

  • many thanks for posting this, VERY useful!

  • Hi Marnie,

I found this video particularly interesting and shall look for the article. And, I'll run right to Target for the Boots #7 wrinkle remover. Linda uses the stuff for which you have to get a prescription. What is it Retin A...? Too expensive.

Correction. Banana Boat is one of the more expensive sunscreens.

It is funnier than heck to see your dogs walking around and around in the background. And the little one trying to jump onto the chair with something in her mouth.

  • @TBSulkin Hey Trace!! That Boots stuff really does work. It's not cheap, but it's a heck of a lot less than the department store stuff. I think my dogs get more views on YT than I do, which is perfectly fine with me, since I think they are adorable, too! So glad we can keep in touch, even if it's through YT! :)

  • Hello I am a new subbie!! I am so happy that I found your channel ....you are so natural, beautiful and funny (in a good way) ...love this video thank you for sharing

    Veronica

  • @veromiami Hi Veronica!! Thank you so much for subbing! I'm glad you're enjoying my videos! ~Marnie

  • pretty lady, very nice home. love the colour of your house.

  • @prettymel66 Thank you!

  • good tips for anti age. Don't smoke. Avoid sunlight if you can or use sunblock.

    Greetings

  • @NoseBleedBabyFan Those are the best tips and the ones we KNOW will work, not matter what!

  • @bridgeyboo3 At Target-it's a bit pricier than regular drugstore stuff, but it's all very good quality.

  • thank you so much for sharing this with us, I would like to try some of these products, but I am not sure if the american OLAYS is the same brand as OIL OF OLAZ here in EUROPE because here in Italy I never saw a brand named Olay, can you tell me if is the same brand? thank you

  • @makeupveroefalso I went on the Olay website and yes, Olaz IS the same brand! YT disables links but it's . olaz . it . Check it out!

  • @MsGoldgirl thank you so much. In this case I will go to the store for find all that olay stuff especially the hydrating foaming, I am so curios to see how it works on me, cause now I am using La Mer cream at night but just make my face too oily. Thks for everything. Kiss and hugs, Oh by the way wich is your fav foundation ever (EL double wear or else?)

  • @makeupveroefalso Absolutely Estee Lauder Double Wear. I love the coverage and I love the staying power.

  • Where is your shirt from...I love it!

  • @Palettagirl I love it too and always get so many compliments when I wear it. It's a really old Target brand shirt.

  • @MsGoldgirl Ha...of course probably not available anymore. Thank you and I love your videos...and your house :)

  • Well I went on the olay website the other day. Then I went to the store today and could only find one thing that was recommended for me. Then I saw some definity products and I was wondering how they would work. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be using products that were too advanced for my skin. Because I am 23 and I don't need anything too advanced for anti-aging.

  • @AshChole619 I personally like the Definity line. I think it would work great for you, if you have dry skin. I still like the Regenerist cleanser the best, though. There's nothing wrong with mixing and matching!

  • I have a question. I'm 23 years old and I've been looking at olay products for awhile. I have dry akin but not overly dry. I don't have wrinkles but I do need to start preventing them. Do you think the definity line would be good to use?

  • @AshChole619 I think it would be great. If you go to the Olay website, they have an interactive part that can help you narrow down exactly which line would work best for you. It asks some really in depth questions and I think you could get the answer you're looking for there.

  • Great video, thanks!

  • Marnie- I too saw this article. I purchased some of the products. Granted, I am older (much) than you but the olay day moisturizer(foaming ) does well for my skin, too . I have been hooked into Shiseido and thought I should find a more reasonable alternative. The l'oreal nighttime is really nice , too. I am glad you shared this video for others to see . Cheryl

  • @4evryoung58 I don't know exactly how much older you are than me, but even if it's just by a few years I'm interested in finding out how the products are working for you. Shiseido is a great company but way too pricey for me. Any other products that you really like?

  • i love to try more olay products and so as oiher brands as well. bt my problem is here in india, there r som limited products. or ty hv launched afew yet.i too hv dry skin. hope there will b mor in future. good job love ur vids.

  • @preetbali Can you order Olay products on the internet? I bet you have some great brands in India that we can't get in the States. Thank you for watching!

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • I really love the olay moisturizers....and my husband loves their face washes :P. I am 26 and The Olay regenerist cream is amazing, for me it works as a great everyday moisturizer, I feel like my skin looks firmer but who knows the advertising might just be getting to me

  • @haulsandreviews Personally, I think I like the Regenerist moisturizer better than the definity. I'll probably go back to it once I finish it up. I really like the one with SPF 50 for summer.

  • Hi Marnie! I am a new subbie; I found you through Nur and YOU ROCK! I saw the same article and sent it to my mom. I have been using the Boots N7 Beauty Serum and I like it. As for peels, I have had it @ my estetician. At first I was scared too. But it made a difference in my skin. Before that, I had tried out the AVON ANEW CLINICAL glycolic peel pads. I like them and I still use them once in a while. Now not everybody shold get a glycolic peel. You should check with a professional first XOXO

  • Found you through Nur, very informative vid, thanks! I'm subscribing! xx

  • @librakitten16 Thank you!

  • New subbie to your channel nurberxo reccomended you.

Great video thanks so much for pointing out the article.

OH and please keep up the book reviews.

  • @Ultimatecruegirl Thanks for subbing! I will definitely keep doing book reviews!

  • So far all Olay products caused eczema on my face: flaking and dry rash. It always happens in about a week. I haven't tried their Definity yet. So how is that moisturizer working out for you?

  • @ji94552 The moisturizer is working pretty well. I'm not sure if I will repurchase yet. It's just so odd putting a mousse on my face. However, my skin feels amazing. I guess I'll just have to get used to it!

  • I have been using boots no.7 serum and night cream for over 2 months now and I have notice a difference in my face. My husband who never notices has also commented about my face. I was surprise that Neutrogena was not among the best skincare products.

  • @Karotsy Neutrogena foundations have always made me break out. Their skin care line may be good, but it just didn't make it into the top 2 spots for each category. But, if you found something that works for you, keep it up!

  • I love Boots! Especially their Organics line. Thanks for the amazing video! :)

  • I'm a newbie to your channel. I was sent here by nurberxo and I'm so glad she did. I too love not only makeup but skincare. So I love that you also have info on skincare and products. I have been using the Boots No.7 since I seen that article. My family and friends have been complimenting me since I've been using it. So I'm convinced it's doing something :) Now I tried the Olay night cream and it wasn't for me I broke out using that. It may be good for dry skin though. I have oily combo skin.

  • @jushave2say Sorry about the night cream. I have extremely dry skin, so what works well for me usually doesn't for normal people. I have used ROC deep wrinkle night cream and it wasn't as heavy as the Olay/L'Oreal night creams. Maybe that could work for you?

  • Thanks! I love the glycolic peel by Boot No7, it's awesome!!!

  • @anora21 Really want to try that! It's on my shopping list.

  • is it tested on animals (the study)

  • @sweetdosage I'm pretty sure they tested it on humans, but for all the details I would read the article. It should be mentioned in there (I hope).

  • Great video, thank you for sharing.

P.S. Your dogs are sooooo CUTE :-)

  • @leeza2706 They make little cameos in most of my videos-keep watching! :)

  • Running out to get these products, been looking at olay for quite some time. I think you are so pretty and your skin looks to be great.

  • @MacLovesMe Thank you! I have been using the Olay Definity and I love how hydrated my skin feels lately. Hope it works for you, too!

  • I love this video!!! Thank you for the information on the article and the link. I am glad I stumbled onto your channel! Btw, love our home decor and dog! hehe

  • @HollyRamblesOn Thanks-that's Bosley. He makes a few random appearances in most of my videos. He thinks this is his house and that he lets us live there. :)

  • Thank you so much! Very interesting!

  • Great video! I am also a firm believer in science and think that I will follow the list. Thanks again for your research!

  • pretty background! great vid :)

  • @HairloungeNmore Thanks-it's my family room. I think the lighting in there might be the best I have for filming.

  • new subbie here, really enjoying your vids. olay and boots are really up there, goes to show it doesnt have to be high end price to get a good product.

  • I printed out a list of all the winners, and I, too, will be trying them for myself over time. Thank you so much for discovering this article & sharing it with us. I would never have found it without you!

  • @MyInformer I picked up the watch with the moisturizer-$14.99 at Target! Are you sure it's the same watch? :) Glad you liked it!
