The thing that really bugs me is I looked for a PC with no trial software and couldn't find one. I Googled "PC without trial software" and apparently they exist but cost more. I can't believe there isn't a single PC manufacture that ships pure Windows. No Microsoft Office trial, or Norton security trial... Ah well. Buying a MacBook Pro soon.

Problem with Mac if one part is damage. In my country, you can't find any spare parts for your Mac and it sucks.

So they're comparing buying a laptop (or any computer with built in monitor) and skipping the manuals, to building a computer and reading everything there is to know about each part.

i got a new computer for about 400-500$ came with all the drivers installed and it didnt even HAVE any manuals

then when i formatted my HDD it took the best part of 20 minutes to re-install everything

Apple contradicts themselves; OEM OSes ALREADY HAVE DRIVERS ON THEM, and Retail OSes don't have trial software bundled.

Then you are running Windows on a Mac. So you don't actually use the mac then, because the hardware in the mac is just like the hardware in the pc. But then without running OSx.

Riiiight. When I got my new HP computer, there was no trial software, or manuals, the most up-to-date drivers avalible at the time, and it came all in one box. I hooked it up in about 5 minutes and was browsing the net about 5 minutes later after that.
