  • They have "The Force".

    Genius !!!

  • Oh the days when music was still good.

  • i gotta get me one of those harmonica braces.

  • heard part of the beginning minute on castle a couple of weeks ago. only reason why i'm here. thumb up if you saw it too. and tell your friends to watch that part cause it's on youtube also

  • That solo was ridiculous. I practiced the recorded solo for like months before getting it and he just does that?!?! WHAT THE HELL!

  • I haven't watched this in almost a year and it's still timeless and incredible seeing my two idols, but what the fuck is with all the comments about Elton's sexuality?? We all know he's gay and he's very happy that way. Just enjoy the music and shut the fuck up!

  • @rexerexer66 piano man, my friend. IMO, one of the best Billy Joel songs that i've heard. their duet on this is marvelous, even though there's a little hiccup with the lyrics

  • @rexerexer66 What???

  • Ha, Elton screwed up the last verse.

  • What a perfect song for these two brilliant artists! I saw them together at Madison Square Garden some 6 or 7 years ago. It doesn't get much better than this.

  • @Jimmy110459 do you by any chance recorded it in audio or video???

  • @mhvr85 .............This is not my recording.

  • @mhvr85 i mean the concert at MSG back in 2002...I've been looking for it like crazy

  • Awesome, simply.

  • schwebbs is right but he is still a faggot.....which is wrong

  • @ipodman219 so u only do what's not wrong?

  • @ipodman219 that's his private life...he's got talent

  • @ipodman219

Moronic thing to say. Grow up ipodman219.

  • @ipodman219 What is wrong about him being gay?

  • sMASHING

  • England and America`s finest. thankyou for posting two of my favorites

  • Heh-heh, Elton goes up on his lines! But it's still classic.

    Play it Billy!!

    Love these two.

  • elton remember the words you dick

  • I'm just curious as to why, when he has the vocal ability, why Elton chooses to sing up and octave at "making love to his tonic and gin"

  • @weirdguy75 because its cool lol

  • @weirdguy75 he always does it that way...

  • As Billy would say, "That's a guinine rock 'n' roll fuck-up. It's how you know it's live."

And I have to say that I cannot wait for them to come back to NY so I can go see them! (Providing I'm lucky enough to get tickets!) I've seen Billy live once before. The man's an all-around entertainer, not just a musician. Love the two of them together, no matter how much flack I get for choosing to listen to artists I actually enjoy.

  • oh no, not in a burial scene, its on the intro of the movie :D it sounds like that

  • Whats the title of this song?? is this the song played in Watchmen?? in the burial scene..

  • this is the original key right?

  • i'd pay 2 weeks wages to go see those two do a 3 hour show

  • im a sense i seen this act in philly tonite it was Awsome! there better in concert

  • H-no billy aint gay! Go listen to only the good die young.

Gah, billy is the coolest kid ever. He's having such a good time on that stage. 4:25 proves it!

  • i was passed up to the stage in the early 90's as a little kid and elton took roses from me and gave me a kiss on the hand. I gave one of the ushers a letter and asked her to give it to elton, she did and he read it on stage the next night. this was in philly at the spectrum.

  • Elton recovered well when he forgot the words towards the end of this video. I just saw them in San Antonio, it was AMAZING!!

  • me too! I was the one who got the autograph and got to sing on the mic! :]

I was so excited. They are my idols. Best day of my life.

  • i have a picture of you getting the autograph!!!!! I can send it to your e-mail if u want it

  • world ain't big.. :)

    two great artist !!

  • are billy joel and elton john dating?

  • no. billy joel isn't gay. and elton's married.

  • Elton's married?

  • Elton has been married to David Furnish since 2005

  • waite is nigel olsson gay? the drummer? and the guitar player? bass player?

  • He is the drummer and he is not Gay..

  • dang all these years i thought he was gay waite that is the same drummer back in the 60s andf 70s right cause he wore them really gay out fits so was that the same drummer?

  • Ya...he has been in Elton John's band since 1969..he might have taken some time out in the early 1990's when he was a race car driver! But everyone wore those types of clothes during the 70's

  • heck no billy joel isnt gay elton john is but hes married to a guy

  • I am so excited! I get to see them in concert! It's my graduation gift! See my video response to me finding out if you want. I tried to do a version of piano man myself, but it didn't work out quite like their version did. Simply beautiful. And Elton's mistake makes it seem real. They're both amazing.

  • I'm going to see them too. Where are you seeing them?

  • The 21st of March. :]

  • I'm seeing them on the 21st of May. =]

  • lol were are they going to be? state country wise?

  • Im Gonna see them in MAY!! 2 rows from the floor!!!!!

  • Im seeing them in may too

  • there gonna play where I live this march but tickets are so expensive I wish I could see them

  • The 2 greatest piano players that ever lived together. Absolutely amazing. I would love to see Crocodile Rock with those 2 together. They are both awesome!!!!!!!!!

  • did elton mess up on a part?

  • yes

  • yes, they laughed about it though. that's always nice!

  • i want to play the piano like these to guys for my gf...

  • ahhh man its just wonderful, and they have been best friends since 1974,they must really care for each other, and it makes me very happy ,two great singers, song writers,....to be together as best friends XD long live elton and billy joel

  • wow it is perfect!!!! <3

  • Lol, that harmonica looks like its painful

  • He said in the In His Words (masterclass) show that the worst part of the harmonica is the gotee-catches his hair.

  • Wow This is awsomw pair, It shows good control over ego

  • it looks like it

  • I was wondering the same thing

  • is that one piano

  • its one piano in 0:50 shows it XD

  • they have both confirmed it during concerts in 2008

so lets hope they do it!

  • they have both confirmed it during concerts in 2008

so lets hope they do it!

  • youtube is so awesome.........thank you for posting this. I saw this live, when I was watching the tonight show, and have been trying to find this ever since. Thanks again, mate.

  • Haha, amazingly done, Elton John did Billy Joel's part really good.

  • i cant find my lighter... =(

    oh, good song

  • Beautiful :) I love Elton's voice. They both are so extremely talented!!!

  • veery coool

  • The two best piano players in the history of the world!! What a great combo!!! Love both!!

  • E. John made a small goof around 4:20 but hey lol awesome duo amazing song. I'd watch anytime.

  • I couldn't go to their concert which was held in Tokyo,1998 because I was at the hospital having a baby. I loved 4:31~4:32. That's funny!

  • The idea of performing the song together is better than the execution, but these guys obviously enjoy each other's company and music very much, and that ist wonderful.

  • I like the version better where Billy Joel sings alone. Elton John is a great artist and singer but he can't seem to capture the soul of Billy Joel in this song. Still great

  • wow, billy's solo is impressive!

  • I would love to know what billy said to him in a drunken stuper after that flub. purely classic.

  • He said, "OK."

  • Year? 2000?

  • ...EXCELLENT...!!!

  • the two beat bar none!!

  • Great song, and 2 amazing artists performing to together. And elton deserves to be able to flub up a line every now and then!

  • Loves it when Elton screws up the lyrics and Billy uses the lyrics "man, what are you doing here?!?" against him! Good stuff :-)

  • Elton's orientation doesn't mean dick... he's still talented despite the fact he chooses to love a man.

  • According to 95% of the people that use this site that is untrue! =/

  • 95 percent of the people who use this site are dickheads. I'm glad i'm the minority!

  • Likewise!

  • He didn't CHOOSE to love a man, idiot. Who would chose to be ostracized? You can't help who you love, nor do you "choose" to love anyone. It just happens. Jeez!

  • @habanero70 I didn't mean to imply that his orientation is a choice, because of course, it's not. He could probably fall in love with a woman if he wanted, we don't know.

  • @schwebbs84 no he couldn't fall in love with a woman.

  • @weirdguy75 and schwebbs84, he actually did fall in love with and married a woman. He's simply happier being with a man.

  • they are the best!!!!

  • sexiiiiiii
