Although I found most of Jordan Maxwell's seminars interesting, it's inspiring to see a good critique of him and of anyone/everyone for that matter.... Thanx for reminding us to do our own homework....
Jordan Maxwell might have some information wrong because he is not perfect, everybody makes mistakes and some things he might get mixed up at his age!! another thing is that his work is quite remarkable and is probably quite accurate, information that you get is from mainstream interpretations and accounts he has 43 yrs experience and has probably spoke to religious and holy teachers face to face and held the real reference works which you would not be able to acquire!!

I am also quick to doubt the mainstream but when the evidence is over whelming and abundantly clear, it is hard to discard years of scholarly research of trained people and simply accept the word of Maxwell aka Russell Pine. @truthoutmedia thanks for your link to another Maxwell debunk-er, however it is pointless for me to watch it as I have done a lot of research myself and a lot of information that Mr. Maxwell uses is correct for example, jesus and his 12 disciples, 4 accepted gospels are personifications of the sun and its 12 hrs of daylight or 12 months of a year along with the 4 seasons in a year, I could go on and on my friend!! Mr. Maxwell is a very intelligent man with a very open mind trying to help others.
@truthoutmedia the death and resurrection of jesus is celebrated in spring or easter or passover, which ever festive name you prefer because that is when the sun is ascending again to the point of maximum potency in the sky eg. summer when its hottest or most radiant, then starts to decline again until the cycle is repeated every year. Yeah I know what you are saying mate and I have deep profound questions about it myself. I guess Christians would answer that they follow Jesus alone, but chose to go to a certain denomination church, not necessarily believing it to be better or more true, but because they just chose to go there. The majority of Christians believe in the same things (The Nicene Creed) and Paul writes simply that if you believe Jesus to be Lord then you will be saved.

I am new to Jordanus? but, have seen a few videos where he says "I do not know this to be truth" but "If there is validity to this information, it bears looking in to". So it would be nice if he could state those reference books. But the man definitely can teach you how to think and do research.
Actually, the whole point of this video was to show that yes, I was bothered to 'check out' what MAxwell was saying, and yes, it does turn out to be all bullshit. I once owned many of his recommended books. Exactly what parts of his library are you referring to? Specifically, I am looking for those works referred to by Maxwell that go back into antiquity, i.e. 'thousands of years'. I recall in his book "old time religion" he recommended a list of books and I got my hands on around 80% of them, but the earliest of which was around 1850, so I am still looking for those works which go back further. Do you have on hand which ones he recommends?

I agree, but the problem with Maxwell and others like him is that they have developed a following of people who fall for mind tricks and subversive techniques. A prime example is Maxwell constantly saying how many years experience he has in looking into this stuff. The listener will automatically think that everything he says must be true because he's done so much research in the 'big libraries of the world' as he likes to put it.

Actually the proven ruins of the city of Ur are well in the south of Iraq, about 16km from Nasiriyah. Chaldea was the name for the marshy lands of southern Babylonia which is south Iraq and Kuwait. Ur was a prosperous trading coastal city before the water levels rose. Perhaps your confused with the city of Urkish, Which isnt in Turkey but Syria. Actually, Maxwell is correct about Iraq and Chaldea. Iraq is the modern name. I just looked at a map of Turkey and there was no chaldea, not even on an ancient map. Babylon which is Bagdhad today was next to Chaldea which was in the region of Present day Iraq. And even if chaldea was a city in Turkey in a current map, does not mean it was in Ancient times, names change and it never was. There is a Rome, NY for example and a Memphis, TN.

I didn't come to my conclusion sporadically one day after sitting in a darkened room and thinking 'I know, I'll argue against Maxwell, even though i'll be wrong'.

Jordan Maxwell might have some information wrong because he is not perfect, everybody makes mistakes and some things he might get mixed up at his age!! another thing is that his work is quite remarkable and is probably quite accurate, information that you get is from mainstream interpretations and accounts he has 43 yrs experience and has probably spoke to religious and holy teachers face to face and held the real reference works which you would not be able to acquire!!

@truthoutmedia the death and resurrection of jesus is celebrated in spring or easter or passover, which ever festive name you prefer because that is when the sun is ascending again to the point of maximum potency in the sky eg. summer when its hottest or most radiant, then starts to decline again until the cycle is repeated every year. What is called into question is whether he is the Son of God. But the Jesus never existed theory regained slight popularity in the 90's but is now generally dismissed by most non-Christian scholars.

I admit that Jordan sometimes forgets to mention some names of those "reference work" books. But those that complain are simply lazy asses that are too stupid to go and look for themselves. So far I found many sources on the web that mention his points. I also never found what jordan mentions about the word CHRISTOS being oil in ancient greek. So it would be nice if he could state those reference books. But the man definitely can teach you how to think and do research.

Specifically, I am looking for those works referred to by Maxwell that go back into antiquity, i.e. 'thousands of years'. I recall in his book "old time religion" he recommended a list of books and I got my hands on around 80% of them, but the earliest of which was around 1850, so I am still looking for those works which go back further. Do you have on hand which ones he recommends?

A prime example is Maxwell constantly saying how many years experience he has in looking into this stuff. Chaldea was in southern Iraq and Kuwait, which was not either at that time. Iraq was Assyria (north) and Babylon (to the south). Chaldea were believed to be from Egypt and came to rule Babylon and this area. Also, so what if he was born in any of these? Another thing, to help along the author of this video...the word ram comes from English, not hebrew, or greek. Aries is greek for ram/sheep. And in hebrew, there seem to be two words for ram and they both come out (Ayl) אַיִל (Mgc)מַגָח and from what I understand that comes out to Aayil and magac. Please excuse me if I am incorrect, but even without the vowel marks, ayl and mgc look nothing like ram or aries.

There's also the concept of Genesis being the Gene of Isis. You might say, well isn't gene from Greek? Isis is from Egyptian? Actually the proven ruins of the city of Ur are well in the south of Iraq, about 16km from Nasiriyah. Chaldea was the name for the marshy lands of southern Babylonia which is south Iraq and Kuwait. Ur was a prosperous trading coastal city before the water levels rose. Perhaps your confused with the city of Urkish, Which isnt in Turkey but Syria. Also Urkish was beleaved to be founded around 400bc 1600 years after Ur and was a Hurriansian city and had nothing to do with the Sumerians etc.

Actually, Maxwell is correct about Iraq and Chaldea. Iraq is the modern name. I just looked at a map of Turkey and there was no chaldea, not even on an ancient map. Babylon which is Bagdhad today was next to Chaldea which was in the region of Present day Iraq. And even if chaldea was a city in Turkey in a current map, does not mean it was in Ancient times, names change and it never was. There is a Rome, NY for example and a Memphis, TN.

Listen my friend I was Maxwell's biggest fan for 3 years, I downloaded every lecture, every radio show and read every book he wrote and every one he suggested. I didn't come to my conclusion sporadically one day after sitting in a darkened room and thinking 'I know, I'll argue against Maxwell, even though i'll be wrong'.

My suggestion is read more into it for yourself and dont let Maxwell tell you 'he isn't the world authority but I have 50 years experience' so many times that you actually believe him.
