As a Dylan fan.... great job, with all the feeling needed and poured onto the song. This is one of his most important ones, and the way u respected it (as a fan i hope) was great. Thank you :)
absolutely brilliant.I first heard this track on a little trannie radio about 2 in the morning when I could't sleep around 1976 and can still feel the goose pimples today.Couldn't get the album where I lived so thumbed 30 miles to get it.Hope you cover the full track some day you are ace. Many thanks
Amazing, the sequence of images segueing into each other. None are explicit about their subject, but all are guessable, which means they're open-ended--you're guess being as good as mine, and being guided by your own unique experience of Woman.
You, Mr. Kerpital, sing this with a richer voice than Dylan. And it's not easy to sing, I bet. Do you think you could do the whole 9 minutes?
Dylan covers are normally disastrous affairs, but this is pretty good. The poetic background really adds to the piece! :-) Did you close your shop during lunch time? :-)
Seriously man, this is really good. Be proud. Of all YouTube covers I've seen this is bar far the best I have heard by a member. I'd even listen to it on my iPod or something. Great work.
as a woman I can say that this song absolutely brings me to tears. The way he is entranced by her is absolutely seducing. I have heard women say they think it is sexist, but I think it is nothing of the sort, I think he is mystified by this woman and views her in such a way that I cant see how a woman wouldnt be impressed or seduced by this song. The fact that a man is intrigued by the woman he is singing of just adds to the poetry even more.
really good version, completely true to the original; tell me: is every guy that hears this song, as I am, utterly taken with this woman as Dylan describes her? when women hear this song, do they feel seduced by what Dylan is saying, or are they turned off for one reason or another? I can see where it could seem intrusive or threatening, but the reverance Dylan impresses for this woman is palpable, as if this song should be performed on one's knees
you made me cry, i love this song so bad (it's one of my favourites), and you have bob's voice and you play very good as well :) thanks for doing such a beautiful version!
It's humble of you to call that an imitation. This is what's I'd call an interpretation. I agree with portabledavros. I would like to hear the whole song, please.
Excellent. Raw, stripped down, dignified performance which does justice to the song without making it too melancholic or pretentious. Thanks for posting this

Ah, I see you took the 2 minutes off for the harmonica solo. That's some good Dylanage right there

true, but still, pretty damn close. A+

You just need to emphasis odd syllables alittle more like Dylan, and bring a little more nasal sound into it.
It's still an excellent impersonation. I wanna hear the whole thing.
