  • 0:47 look at the helmet :D

  • hehe my sporty has full sized floor boards from a full sized touring bike

  • 79 z28 lets trade

  • were did you get the pipes

  • @69warbeast69 Ebay

  • that must be one of the best sounds ever

  • how tall are u? i'm 6'2 and i'm thinkin of getting a nightster but not sure even with the forward controls if i was comfortable

  • @frederich822000 I'm about 5'10, but a bigger dude. I'm comfortable on it but have been told more than a few times that I need a bigger bike.

  • @frederich822000 your way way too tall. My wife bought a wide glide, shes 5'10 and Im 6'3. These bikes are tiny. You would be better off going to the dealership and sitting on every single bike they have unitl you feel like its a match.

  • This is pretty much exactly how I want mine to look except I'm gonna get Rinehardt pipes and keep mid controls :) Nice looking bike man!

  • @mediarocker543 Go for it brother and post a vid of your scooter when you get 'em installed

  • @godsick, sure will :) Just hope I get this Job :) LOL

  • Pretty much exactly how I want mine.. except mine will have mid controls :)

  • @mediarocker543 There are some similar pipes where you can keep the mids but because of the way the pipes are shaped, I had to switch out to forwards. I do like 'em, gives me a little more room to stretch out. I found I would start cramping up after longer rides with the mids, no real problems since putting on the forwards.

  • @godsick, Oh yeah not knockin on the Forwards, I'm just a little shorter than normal and like the neutral feel. :)

  • @mediarocker543 That's cool. I did like the riding position with the mids, but like I said, the forwards give me that extra little stretch I need. If I would have kept the mids I probably would have thown on a set of highway pegs...

  • what year is the bike?

  • I am so jealous!

  • @themanitasdeplomo Don't be jelly, get one for yourself!

  • @godsick It's an '07

  • I like the look of this style of pipes. I've been looking at these, Bassani, and V+H in the same configuration which all look equally sick to me. One question for you though: Are you able to run your standard mid set pegs or did you have to swap out to forward controls? Either way I can't wait to get my Nightster next month and get some pipes for it!!! Nice bike!!!

  • @fordrallycross Thanks for the comment. I actually had to swap out my mids for forward controls but I thought I read that maybe with one of the other sets you could actually keep the mids, but I'm not sure. Make sure you post some vids of yours when you get it!

  • Tasteful mods. The bike looks and sounds great.

  • @chrisnorman83 Thanks man, I appreciate it.

  • these pipes are freaking sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @12345ybbob Thanks man

  • Thanks for the response! These are the only pipes i like....I found some on ebay but the guy had em on his 99 soft tail and does not know if they will fit my 07 nightster. Did you have to install a o2 censor on them to work or did it come with that?

  • @sparrow5280 I don't think softail pipes would work on a sportster and if they did, you'd probably have to modify them. These already had bungs for my o2 sensors which I doubt a set of '99 pipes would have. They also came with the o2 sensor plugs since the bike doesn't use them anymore. I would just say keep checking eBay, I looked every once in a while and got lucky.

  • Where did you buy those pipes and how much are they?

  • @sparrow5280 I bought them off Ebay. Hooker got out of the exhaust business so they are discontinued.

  • @MrJimmy1437 GFY troll.

  • naw man i have a 2009 nightster two tone with vance and hines short shots, heavy breather, ape hangers the short shots definately dont lower the torque i can pull my front tire about 6 inches off the ground when taking off.

  • Brave kitty cat to sit at the end of that rumbling bike!

  • @TheGaelicPrince That's my helmet...

  • @TheGaelicPrince LOL Only saw it at a glance. Looked like a black cat with a set or green eyes wounderin' what the rumbling was! Just watched it again and you're right it's a helmet.

  • Are you a girl or a short sized guy? what it this hyper low suspension that I see everywhere, your bike included? Thats not a bike, how can you turn properly? Just have a look at the real Sportster design from the beginning since now, bottom of the bike should be at the level of the tank, underneath is dangerous and so selfish (hard to see a nice duo this way). Non-sense for security, fun and look.

  • @ricsen13 No, I'm not a girl or a short sized guy. I'm not quite sure what you mean about turning properly. With the lower bike and lower center of gravity I actually find turning to be quite comfortable and easy.

  • @ricsen13 What do you ride ricsen13?

"bottom of the bike should be at the level of the tank, underneath is dangerous and so selfish (hard to see a nice duo this way). Non-sense for security, fun and look." ???? Im sorry but Iam confused.

  • @livingdreams209 They're similar pipes, and I like the rumble I get from mine.

  • Looking to get this type of exhaust. Having trouble finding a vendor. Any suggestions?

  • @diegruft666 Hooker got out of the exhaust business, so your best bet is to check out some third party vendors if they still have any in stock. Or check eBay, that's where I got mine.

  • That sounded really good, beautiful bike man. Did you have it dynod?

  • @jbru14 No, haven't had it dyno'ed but I plan on it.

  • this may be a dumb question, but what exactly does the PC3 do to the bike? and i heard that pipes like those, and the V&H short shots, could lower the torque, is that true? thanks! that sound coming out of your pipes is fin amazing! well worth the potential drop in power!

  • @jdowell362 The powercommander lets you adjust the fuel air ratio to get optimum performance when you put on a high flow air cleaner and exhaust.

  • @jdowell362 Certain pipes like the Hooker Troublemakers don't rob the engine of power because they are baffled and provide the right amount of back pressure.

  • sounds great

  • So sick. Thanks for the video.

  • i want to plug in the power commander 3 to my nightster.. is it any good? have you seen actual change to the function of the engine?

  • @manolissotiris Yes, the PC3, Screaming Eagle intake and pipes really give it some get up 'n go. I raised the rev limiter with the PC3 and can really get going on it now.

  • Do you mind me asking what it cost to put a Hooker Troublemaker exhaust on a nightster?

  • @dhargis1 I got a deal on them off eBay. I don't remember what I paid. Someone bought them and then decided against them so their loss was my gain.

  • ~Sweet Ride....Beautiful ~**********

  • u still got room to run passenger pegs with those?

  • @krazykasper. I don't know, I plan on keeping it set up for solo riding.

  • @krazykasper I don't see why not but I'm keeping it set up for solo riding for now.

  • Did you raise the tank at all?

  • @TheGoater11

Not yet but I'm planning on it. I want to lift the tank, tuck the wires and relocate the coil and key

  • that bike is sexiiiii

  • Nice pipes!

  • That sounds pretty good but I like the looks and sound of my Sideshots by Vance and Hines, that and the looks of the heavy breather that i had added just sets the bike off! Check it out!

  • post more vids of the bike! its great

  • Incredible bike! I am looking at a Sportster still not sure if I should go for a IRON or a Nightster...this is helping make my mind up...any advice?

  • @zoneBOMB ... go with the nightster... you wont grow out of it... and the iron is like putting a v6 in a monstertruck

  • Can't wait to get mine in, just order them, seeing your video made me want them. Have you had any problems with them i've herd good and bad about them. LOVE DA BIKE!!

  • Awesome sound to your machine. You've just convinced me to buy a set of Troublesmakers. Cost me £650, but if my Nightster will sound this good it will be worth every penny. Thanks for posting.

  • I've been searching all week for the right pipes for my Nightster. Rineharts or V & H. I've now found the perfect sound. That's the best growl I've ever heard. Thanks for posting.

  • I just picked up an 09 iron 883...looking at a set on ebay that'd be coming off an 08 nightster. Any reason there'd be a problem with O2 sensors or anything?

  • Can't say for certain. I don't think so, but I also don't know if they have different sets for different cc engines.

  • Sweet Bike. I'm in Afghanistan right now but, i will be picking up a 2010 nightstaer when i get home. Hopefully i can find some of those Hooker pipes, they sound awesome.

  • Thanks man, you'll love it. The video doesn't do it justice. They have a real nice growl, and they just look great.

  • S.I.C.K

I was going to put thunderheaders on mine, but this sounds so good.

  • Thanks man. I guess Hooker got out of the pipes business so you'll have to get them from another source. I got a deal on mine off ebay but there's still some sites selling them too.

  • FINALLY someone with a good sounding nightster. im glad to see you chose those pipes instead of everyone elses short shots. im running samson pipes on mine.

  • Yeah, when the black shortshots came out I liked them but it seems everyone is putting them on. I wanted something different and really liked the look of the Troublemakers. They definitely give the bike a real aggressive sound and some extra giddy-up!
