  • Hahahahahahaha!!!

Guess the Cessna didn't come with a pack of Tampax for him...

I've gone AFF every time so far...taken 9 new people on their first jumps (4 of which were women--all AFF's). This guy needs to turn in his man card, for sure! Of course it's scary at first!! Gotta bite the bullet and just let gravity work! I even had a malfunction cutaway on a level 1 AFF...now I have 14 jumps in!!

    Blue skies!!

  • @gfell82 Wow, you're hard...

  • I thought I was gonna chicken out when I went tandem. But I was just too curious to care if I died

  • maybe he dosent have enough tandem jumps in yet. man when i did a tandem jump, the second that my feet hit the ground i wanted to be right back up there. going solo im sure is a completely new deal but id do it in a heartbeat!

  • @Prymer55 Yea it really is. I wasn't scared when I did my tandem jump, but its a whole new story for the solo. I wasn't scared during the plane ride up, be the second I got in the door and looked down I just about pissed myself and thought "What the hell am I doing up here?" But I jumped and since then skydiving has more or less taken over my life.

  • Can understand him not jumping its dam scary out there!

That's a small plane as well, did my first static line jump two weeks ago, not a great exit from the plane, had some line twists but got them sorted and my landing was a bit rough. Will I go back again? Yes, I want to get it right next time!

  • If you're going to do a static line jump, don't worry. I was very scared, but I just thought back to my training and I was almost too eager.

  • he has a big vigina

  • why wear a helm again? it cracks me up..

  • @neonsector Because it can save your life or prevent serious injury on a rough landing.

  • @neonsector because it will protect you from impacts from other skydivers, possibly the plane.. cant count how many times ive hit my head climbing in

  • Coming down with plane is always the right alternative if person chooses so. Even though he might enjoy freefalling if he just could get out, its not good idea to force anyone. And AFF might go very bad if he just struggles there. I did not jump on first time (static line) and later on that summer someone did same. Here i am now, with 54 skydives behind and million more ahead. I love this.

  • shit this is what im afraid is going to happen to me when i do my jumps.

  • @sgiwatkin The handle is stowed backwards (barely).

  • See people kicked off the step but never seen anyone get back in.

  • Hahahaha! It's a different story when the plane reaches altitude.

  • At our DZ once your feet are out the door and your ass comes off the floor you're making a skydive.

  • aff

  • @sergeantdiessel Yea, but you need training tandems before AFF. This doesn't make sense. Maybe he jumped w someone feeling secure, but didn't trust himself doing the work?

  • @NYCEmpire i never done a tandem all mine have been aff so i dont see where the training tandems come in ? where do u jump?

  • @sergeantdiessel I jump at Skydive Long Island, Calverton, NY. Hmm, go figure. It's very common to do training tandems. Where is your DZ?

  • @NYCEmpire i used to jump at richmond indiana but they move so now i jump at lebenanon ohio

  • @NYCEmpire

I've never done tandem either. It cost more to go AFF from start since you gotta pay for a good bit of ground training first, plus two instructors to jump with you to ensure you're good to the pull.

That said, I won't laugh at anyone for backing out. That first time isn't easy.

  • @Abasuto In NY, we do two training tandems mandatory before entering AFF. The tandems have basic drills to get the jumper familiar with basic signs, altitude awareness, and feel for equipment. Then comes ground training, and the levels of AFF, 1 jump at a time, gradually increasing passed requirements to advance.

  • @NYCEmpire

That sounds like a smarter way to go. Regardless of how much ground training a person's had, you never know how they'll react during the real thing. Full blown panic attack leading to blacking out. Not good.

  • @Abasuto I agree. This is one sport where I wouldn't want literally throw myself out there and see how well I do just to advance.

  • @NYCEmpire I did my AFF without having any prior jumps. Depends on the drop zone I suppose.
