@08Eyes80 Learn the minor pentatonic and major scales. Every beginner song you could possibly want to learn is in those scales. Also when you learn tabs you'll start to recognize patterns and it'll make jamming easier when you get to that point. Plus 12 bar blues doesn't make sense if you don't know any scales, and that's also very essential.

Also guitar pro is your friend. It'll give you the tabs and the actual scores so you can tell the timing you'll need.
