@chukkey yes, there are hundreds of more pages and 9 hours of stuff in the real thing. I would recommend PS (it is very good to have for things like this), but it isn't 100% essential for all techniques.

My face is seen in almost half of these, my cat, friends and family members, plus all of my videos are photography related; many going over how these images were created :)

@gritzteel I use a filter on my camera. Not all cameras work well with the filter but some work very well with it. You can also convert it.

Which camera do you think is best? Nikon D3100 14.2MP Digital SLR Camera or the Nikon D50 with AF-S DX 18-55mm Lens 6.1 Megapixel? I'm new to these cameras and don't really understand why one that's older and has less MPix costs more. Could you please help me understand?

@ZtwerdXP You can find a D50 for $300 on eBay. I don't know which one is "better", but the D3100 is newer and has more megapixels so I am guessing it is better than the D50.

@ZtwerdXP hey dude, which ever camera you choose just make sure it has what you would want to do with. Personally I love macro pics and tricks and alot of other pics. Just choose one in your price range with the settings you would like. Overall I am getting a Pentax K-r to start on my photography.

I like them. I thinks some are too edited to still be 'photographs' but they are still fantasic pieces of 'graphic art' (for want of a better word). There is such a wide deversity of pictures from landscapes to abstracts its hard not to like atleast one of them.

@jenair86 thank ya. I took a pic of a rose on a black background, opened it in Photoshop and duplicated it twice. create a new layer on top and set the blending mode to "Color" on that layer, then painted over the rose pedals with green and blue
