@NoOffenceZ right before you go face down. your legs should have enough momentum to be able to lift your body off the ground giving you enough time to land on your back. its hard to explain but its quite easy to do after you feel how it works. its kinda like you spin your legs in the air hard enough to be able to use the lift to lift your body. its hard to exlain. or like you position your legs at a certain point where u can use it to spin your torso with your legs. use ur legs to whiplash torso

And ehum no, barrels are when you have your arms in a circle in front of your chest. In this vid Ivan pretty much always has one hand locked to his muts and the other not far away. And in a few he has both at his crotch.

In barrels u use ur ARMS like ivan in this, if u look it closely.. In nutcrackers, u cant get speed like that cuz u only use ur shoulders, cuz arms are really LOCKED. Ivans arms arent locked, he uses em to roll faster to make his mills faster. Just watch closely, when his hopping from the back and skipping the front side, he swings with her arms and upper bod

Well if you just learned em it might explain why you don't the technique quite down yet. Yes when you start to learn nutcrackers you have your arms locked but when you get better you learn, or hopefully learn, to relax them and while still holding your crotch swinging your shoulders and upper arms for momentum. Yes i have known how to do them for quite some time.

@Oasics93 But notice how ivan uses his whole left arm to skip from shoulder to shoulder. His right arm helps to swing the whole upper body. Its not possible to make these kind of mills as nutcracker style, as barrels are known to be much faster and more rolling than nutcrackers

I do see his right arm as i said the same thing you said earlier. However barrels are with both hands in a circle. in front of you. The first ones are a mix between barrels and nutcrackers. The ones in the middle are nutcrackers then back to the mix.

Its not that simple dude. There are these barrels like ivans, which are very low and arms low too, then again, i do barrels that are high and arms high too. Pretty much same goes with nutcrackers, but arm and hand position in nutcrackers are more important than in barrels, cuz only way to do em is keeping ur hands on ur groin and arms locked. Ivan uses his arms and upperbody to twist like in barrels so he could roll like 6 mills for every 360 degrees from bird eye's view

That's true, the only thing is that if the person watching the video was trying to learn windmills (straight windmills) and they thought this video was the place to start, that would be bad because you would have no hope of learning these before standard mills so when the discription says "so that you can learn windmills better" that is a bad thing.

Look up what a halo is. You spin a FULL rotation on your head then back down. He's not even doing a full 360 turn on his head, just a 180.
