I like the crossing signals and the blue and white border. I'm sure that does help reduce accidents, but lets also give credit to the Swedish people for being cautious and intelligent!
I've seen several videos of Americans DRIVING AROUND a crossing arm that is already lowered! Risking their lives to save 2 minutes! They often get hit, oh well.
My Dad had this expression, "In case of a tie, the train wins."
@ritariassafani The reason is to get more visibility! Sweden has one of the most lowest rates of level crossing accidents and the 1 of reasons for this are these kind of level crossings. Hope we get them in Finland some day too! :)
