Yes, 'Clyne', Schwartz {correct spelling- I was typing too fast that day to notice!} later went on to create and produce "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND" and "THE BRADY BUNCH". Another of Red's writers at the time was Dave O'Brien, who previously worked on MGM's "PETE SMITH SPECIALTIES" shorts in the '40s and '50s (he was an expert at writing and performing physical comedy, as well as a part-time stunt man).

Red Skelton was clean fun..................I like the 1 commercial, unlike today with 6 or seven in a row plus those annoying pop-ups! That is why I don't watch regular TV anymore.

None of Red's 1957-'59 CBS shows were preserved in "full color" (preserved only on black and white kinescope film). Despite the credits, the only thing Red actually contributed to each week's script was the on-air "ad-libs"; Sherwood Schawartz later recalled that part of his agreement to be one of Skelton's writers included the fact that he was never to meet with him personally.
