When Reagan became president Unemployment was nearly 10%, interest rates were 19 and 1/2% and there were gas lines and double digit inflation. Now when you grow up and can talk facts you will be welcome here. Gas prices and interest rates started coming down in Reagans first 6 months. Also everyone got a real tax cut. President Reagan won 49 states in his re-election and won by 18%.
