I was there that night, a worker told us it was a computer error on the computer that controls the lights.

It was wierd i was watching this game on my tv and when the lights went out... so did my towns power! We live all the way in elbert county in Kiowa, Colorado

@cd845484144 it was realy windy that night. The wind caused the blackout. At least thats what my brother says.

Well, at Game 3 vs. the Phillies, the main stadium lights went out for about 3 minutes and didn't come fully on for about 15 minutes, because of high winds in the Denver area. It was just strange and a lot of fun to be there.
