I did the switch from X360 to PC gaming, got tired of the boring ass games they are doing on the consoles with the same outdated graphics, that's when i knew i had to go big and bought myself a gaming rig+Steam. now i think to myself HOLYSHIT why didnt i do this earlier???
Meanwhile, if you chose a good rig, you have a good upgrade path, and will stay updated with a smaller investment. And you don't have to spend every penny you have, that's just a misconception. Xbox and PS3 games usually have medium/high graphics, and if you can settle for that, you don't need a GT580 or a GT7970 for this quality. And whenever you feel your PC is dragging behind, upgrades to maintain this quality won't be very expensive.

PC is too much unpredictable. When, for example, I buy a PS3 game, I can be 100% sure that it's gonna work. I just pop it in, and here it is. With a PC, you always get a risk of the game not working. Sometimes, you get error messages like these''CANNOT RUN START.EXE'' or sometimes this ''ERROR 87650192874098"/$%?& NOT AVAILABLE ON STARTUP BROKEN LINK'' and most of the time, if your game doesn't work and you want a refund, they won't refund your money. so FUCK PC!!!

The PC version has much better lighting, there are many missing shadows in the xbox version. It's hard to tell all the differences such as textures, particle effects, antialiasing, and so on since its an encoded youtube video. However you can tell the xbox version does at least look somewhat decent.

I have built MANY computers from $300-$500 thats absolutely destroy consoles..... If ur guna buy a console, buy a PS3... Xbox 360 has tricore, 512mb, 7800gt (equivalent, not exact), ps3 has 7cells and 7950gt (equivalent)... I can make a ~$350 with a nice dual core and a GTS 250 that would destroy all consoles...
I loved the lightning in this game. I was consecutively awed at how awesome it looked. I played it on the PC of course. Though I had trouble with the game hitting as low as 3 fps but I think it was due to using the PHYSX option. After disabling it I never had such a problem occur.

But it comes down to if you're willing to spend the money on high end pc's, when consoles which are a little step behind are only 300 bucks! Compared to a decent gaming pc which is around 800-1000 bucks.

PC will always have an advantage because it can be upgraded. You just need deep pockets to keep up with the latest graphics cards. Xbox is better value for sure and the trade off in graphics isn't enormous if we're honest. I still play PC...I just like the laziness of consoles..just whack it in and get playing.
Building your own PC is no doubt rewarding, I bought a GTS 450 to upgrade my 9400, but it is fucking expensive. Every year it's either RAM, MoBo, GPU CPU or hard drive I need to renew, and these parts don't come cheap. Of course, you have cheaper games on a PC, but if you abide to the golden rule of PC building (that is, never spend more than £100 on a single component), it's a rewarding and ultimately better experience than buying a console.

with the rest of the accesories it will get up to 1500$
i know all the pc gamers defend themselves with "you don't need a 2000$ pc, you can buy a pc that costs 500$ and play all the games"
400$ pc will play the games, but it will lag like fuck
so, when you are a pc gamer, make sure you can spend more than 1000$

Ive played on 1080p modern warfare 2, black ops, gears of war, unreal tournament 3, F3AR, portal 2, GTA 4, crysis, crysis warhead, crysis 2. So please dont talk just to talk. Im talking because of experience. A gtx560 ti, phenom II x4 and 4gb ran ddr3 are enough to run any game full hd, maybe except for crysis

The PC version has much better lighting, there are many missing shadows in the xbox version. It's hard to tell all the differences such as textures, particle effects, antialiasing, and so on since its an encoded youtube video. However you can tell the xbox version does at least look somewhat decent.

I have built MANY computers from $300-$500 thats absolutely destroy consoles..... If ur guna buy a console, buy a PS3... Xbox 360 has tricore, 512mb, 7800gt (equivalent, not exact), ps3 has 7cells and 7950gt (equivalent)... I can make a ~$350 with a nice dual core and a GTS 250 that would destroy all consoles...

I loved the lightning in this game. I was consecutively awed at how awesome it looked. I played it on the PC of course. Though I had trouble with the game hitting as low as 3 fps but I think it was due to using the PHYSX option. After disabling it I never had such a problem occur.

ok listen up. I own a 360, and im not a fanboy... the PC on high will always win out the consoles. But it comes down to if you're willing to spend the money on high end pc's, when consoles which are a little step behind are only 300 bucks! Compared to a decent gaming pc which is around 800-1000 bucks.

I put it in my 4 year old computer and have played metro 2033 with everything maxed out and get a steady 30fps. With PC games being cheaper than councel games Ill have saved the money that it cost me to buy the card in less than a year. mean while the xbox will be running on 6 year old technology. Point being PC gaming is actually cheaper than councel gaming

PC will always have an advantage because it can be upgraded. You just need deep pockets to keep up with the latest graphics cards. Xbox is better value for sure and the trade off in graphics isn't enormous if we're honest. I still play PC...I just like the laziness of consoles..just whack it in and get playing.

Building your own PC is no doubt rewarding, I bought a GTS 450 to upgrade my 9400, but it is fucking expensive. Every year it's either RAM, MoBo, GPU CPU or hard drive I need to renew, and these parts don't come cheap. Of course, you have cheaper games on a PC, but if you abide to the golden rule of PC building (that is, never spend more than £100 on a single component), it's a rewarding and ultimately better experience than buying a console.
Plus, you get better graphics :)
