  • For all the arguments out there There are differences in genetics having to do with race. For instance, black people have denser bones than Caucasians resulting in heavier bones, but as of yet I'm not sure that there has been ANY research as to which race is better at "gaining muscle". All the comments I have read so far have all been skeptics.

  • Sup twins, Im 6'7... about 4 years ago I was standing at 6'6 & 190 pounds.... After years of working out hard Im now 6'7 & 230 pounds. Technically my body is suppose to be lanky and skinny but I put in some hard fucking work and now my body is where I want it to be. Your body type might make it harder for you to get the results you want but ultimately its your work ethic and motivation that will put you where you want (with your body and in life)

  • Great video! It is true that we all can add a substantial amount of muscle with proper training, nutrition and rest but our genetics do play a big factor in how our muscles will look. I read a book "The New High Intensity Training" by Ellington Darden that explains that the "length" of our muscles, such as the length of your bicep from where it connects at your shoulder to where it attaches at the elbow is what determines how large they can grow, the longer the muscle the better.

However, african americans ARE able to build more muscle than the average man...not all black people, but most....it goes back to the slave trade which was evil, but the plantation owners wanted big muscular slaves, so most of the first african americans DID have great genetics, and that gene was passed throughout the years....

Black men tend to have more fast-twitch muscle fibers which is good for sprinting, basketball, boxing, etc. White men tend to have more slow-twitch muscle mass, just look at powerlifting and strong man competitions. Nearly all the world's strongest men are white. Consider the traditional builds of historically white groups like the Vikings, Spartans, Celts etc. Many consider them the world's fiercest warriors. Search it up bro!

True a muscular slave was worth more, but it's not true at all that muscular Africans were handpicked and imported more than normal Africans were. All slaves were forced to mate, regardless of body size, so that more offspring could be sold or used for labor (fuckn terrible); and muscular slaves mated with females who could carry whatever genes. So bottom line, it's an ignorant misconception.

  • @fingertapper88 He is partially correct, slavery wasnt that long ago, but it wasnt only 100-1000 slaves, it was more around millions, when slave owners bought slaves, they would go for the slaves who were big and strong, as they had the higher chance to work better then the smaller slaves, 4 million slaves over 150 or so years could easily put a large portion into our current population, with good portion of them having the good genes that their slave reletives had.

    Amount of body fat does not change the way you gain muscle. It only changes the way muscles can be seen. And fat is not needed to resist cold in a modern society, white people are fat because they eat lots of shit. Plus being in cold makes you burn more calories. No excuses.
