  • awsome top

    spin

  • Too bad it isn't good anymore... :/ sick and fucking tired of Nole Nole Nole

  • Nadal has always had an amazing forehand, so I'd never really noticed how good his backhand is until recently. It's a very underrated shot. His technique is perfect and he hits the ball really early and hard. It's actually very similar to Andre Agassi's backhand. Anyone else notice that?

  • @haithxbai I'm positive he uses a SW forehand, Eastern/Conti backhand.

He takes the ball on the rise, negating the -need- to go western.

  • @haithxbai Also 'Cause he is a righty, but plays left tennis, he can have this cool ability to be late on his backhand, but because his right hand is dominant, he can still hit cross-court. :)

Also as a little question... Does Nadal's backhand grip on his left hand stay the same? I mean he puts his index knuckle on the 3rd bevel for his forhand i think, does he put that knuckle on the 3rd for backhands as well? Because I do and my backhands are working out pretty nicely.

  • el pasapelotas en acción .... al más desagradable de todos los tiempos, aguanta roger !

  • fed 4 ever

  • Who ever agrees that Rafeal Nadal is the best tennis player by far please add me as a friend .

  • Rafa is so classy. lovely. true king. love Rafa Nadal

  • the most awesome backhand in tennis

  • @haithxbai Oh okay, cool. Thanks for your reply :).

  • @haithxbai What do you mean?

  • if rafa had fed's backhand he would be unstoppable

  • @cooldaddy6567 thats why nadall hits everything to feds bachand... lol

  • Nadal backhand is under rated. He should get his props for having so much topspin.

  • Lol, not too much.

If you notice, he's a right handed dominate normally, but left handed in tennis.

So for his backhand he has this huge open stance = more topspin, and he hits incredibly hard if he flattens out

  • @camweezy5 isnt he known for his good backhand? besides his good footwork ofcourse

  • pronation causes the stroke to look longer for topspin purpose

  • oh,good one!

  • 0:45 XD

  • what happens at 0:45?

  • he miss hit the ball right on the frame! !

  • this is exactly how i hit my backhand i keep my raquet head a little closed and use footwork and bend my knees when i hit

  • what a coincidence!!..mine is exactly the same!!..except that mine is way more powerful..incredible, isn't it?

  • lol, i bet u got more topspin too ^^

  • nadal's achilles heel = his knee

  • @oggy112 Wouldnt that make it his Achilles knee? haha

  • Federer's backhand is much prettier!

  • look at that knee bend nice form man^_^

  • Great video Fuzzy !

  • does he use continental(left) and semi-western(right)?? it looks like it from his backswing

  • His racket face seems closed on his backhand.Maybe an eastern BH grip.

  • It looks like an eastern grip to me, western can be hard to do as a backhand, especially for a guy like him who has a lot of power but then again he is number 1

  • I've read in tennis mags that he uses full western, and that supposedly is how he generates so much spin

  • Excellent video again, Fuzzy!! Very well done and in HD!!! Love it!!

  • Nadal's backhand is probably better than Nalbandian's by now

  • But Nalbandian has a prettier backhand!!!

  • I prefer Federer but speaking about backhands i prefer Nadal

  • nalbandian's backhand is clearly the best, it's very natural, But rafa's backhand in last year RG was ridiculous, I think both he and Roger's backhands depends on their confidence at the moment, intead nalbandian use his backhand to improve his confidence, that is his main shot
