I'm a mom too & when my girls each went I cried too but it didn't take long for me to get over it and enjoy the few hrs. of peace and quiet. I can only imagine how hard that was. I have a wonderful 2 year old daughter and we watch the bus pick up the kids everyday and I think about how hard that first day will be for me and my wife. Thanks for sharing though.

I remember me and my children moma being this emotional when the kids first started school. Little did we know they grew up to be teenagers and we wanted them to go away, the little mouthy demons. But once they get into their late 20s they start being nice people that we have learned to love all over again. And they have some pretty nice little grandkids that we can spoil and then send them home. Wait where were my parents when my kids were little?
