@grasshopper567482767 Ehh...well that's a stretch for sure. These guys sound nothing like Dimmu Borgir, Abigail Williams, etc...not enough symphonics. To be honest I think it's enough to call this Viking black metal, or even just black metal. I appreciate your honest contribution though! =)

Can someone explain to me why there's exclusively screaming in such metal songs? This is not supposed to be trolling, I'm open to new kinds of music but I just don't understand how there's any stronger effect of it left if EVERYTHING is screaming?

@Redon26 Its a valid point. Bands that are "mainstream" (I'm not a hipster and dont care if a band is mainstream) like Children of Bodom, Norther, Dethklok ect. all scream. This popularizes the technique and influences people. Thats my feeling.

@Redon26 Black metal incorporates quite a few growls, as well. Likewise, death metal is mostly growling with a bit of screaming as well.
