  • @AUSM92 In other word they bare merely copying the modus operandi that already exists!! Sorry this people are entitled to some of that oil, clean water and decent living and health conditions.

By any chance are you an agent??

  • I support what these guys are about. We need more of them like this all across the world. Fuck the oil companies.

  • Massive oil has been found in Imo and and Anambra. Let others fight their fight alone and Igbos should do likewise.

The problem of the Niger delta is not a development problem; It is a JUSTICE problem. The people need and demand their FREEDOM back

  • @Okoroman You fool, only Hausa-fulani??? You must be deluded. what about the Igbo and Niger delta, Ibori, Ignendion and all the other South east politicians, how have they made the lives of us better. • the people of the western world even africans living there are so ignorant apart from their government and their rich oil companies. BP wants to buy Shell or they want to join force. Together we can seriously hurt those big companies that are ruining us and our planet for profit and greed

  • Wake up!!! White men's GREED is destroying the Planet!? Dont let them cut even one more tree. Wake up. Say no to Gen. Food, Eradiated meat, fruits, poisen in our water and air wake up. dont let them do these things anymore. people of the world.......

  • @Ebdan88 ITS TO LATE B ROTHER I MEAN WE ONLY CAN WAKE PEOPLE UP TO THE CAUSE... WHAT I MEAN IS TO REALIZE IT AND BELIEVE IN THE AFTERLIFE

  • Ooooh yeah, we love our planet. We are giving the planet too much love,

  • maybe when the gulf states start looking like Niger, people will wake up. only sadly, it will be far too late.

  • These pictures are just disgusting! This is the slavery of the 21st century. Each of us has to fight against the suppression of big companies and governments of the west. Because the people are poor, they can't really revolt against the system of capitalism. Our prosperity is mainly based on exploitation of the people in that video.

  • Ahhh .. Now i see ..

  • i actully understand and feel bad for the nigerians...maybe its cuz im really hgih

oh btw can we all stop cal em them nigers?

  • @bonerman115

And what are we supposed to do when they start calling themselves "niggers"?

  • @zqewkl hahahahaha dude, ihave no fucking clue what i said or meant by that. Like my comment says i was obviously reaaaaallly high

  • And now you see what happens when there are no environmental regulations and/or purely corrupt government.

After seeing this i thank god for the people who started the EPA so we don't have the same situation in the US!

  • For goodness sake! I am a red blooded American, business man, who believes in Capitalism, but this is BS. Absolutely disgusting. Who ever is exploiting this land and waters is a criminal. Fix this fricking mess. Just another form of ramming something down your mouth when not even asking or favoring it in the first place. I don't like how the PPACA was handled here, and you can't expect the people of this community to welcome this form of sloppiness as well.

  • Every Nigerian benefits from the development that is Lagos Also that is Abuja. I am an Ibo man whatver the hatred that comes from the some iliiterate ijaws or whoever in the Niger delta should not blind any one to see that all nigerians would benefit from a well develped Ijaw environ. Its illiteracy that makes anyone to see the injustice in Nigeria delta as just an Ijaw fight .Its a fight for all well meaning nigerians whatver tribe. We all should detest Injustice

  • Found this on wikipedia...

The effects of oil in the fragile Niger Delta communities and environment have been enormous.

85% of national oil revenues end up in the hands of 1% of the population.

While local indigenous people have seen little if any improvement in their standard of living while suffering serious damage to their natural environment.

Almost 7000 oil spills occurred between 1970 and 2000, more than one each day.

No wonder locals are PISSED and it's NOT just there.

  • its not 1%, its less than 1%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  • How much of the Oil is owned by the people or local companies?

It seems like the Oil Companies take the lions share and then destroy & pollute the lands and get people sick.

I PRAY someone can invent something to get us OFF OIL.

  • The oil has become their Achilles Heel of the Ikweres, Ijaws and Ogonis. Igbos are now having the last laugh. Business is our thing.

  • What have we to laugh about? All the people of the South are our people and where one is affected, we are all affected.

  • You people have oil but there is nothing to show for it. Ibos don't have oil but see how they have recovered since the war. Splendid isolation is the position of the Ibo man and watch the Ikweres in particular wither on the vine! The oil shit is your business.

  • Nnfefe as an Ibo man like you I understand where you are coming from But you MUST understand that injustice is injustice. I dont accept that Ibos are laughing at what is happening .if you read history very well there are many from Ibo that are in the various ijaw communities. Yes the war gave them a complex and they hate the ibos But the injustice is something that anyone anywhere should find disgusting. Though some in ijaw have not helped matters howver ist frustartion. Ojukwu first alerted us

  • All nigerian tribes should rise with the ijaws and others too within these areas against the injustice. Nigeria is not liberated until the niger delta areas are liberated. where they suffer every nigerian suffer. They are our brothers and sisters...though there are some amongst them who think if you sympathise with them it means you want to share in their Oil wealth. I make money from importing oil into Nigeria yet I feel for the degradation I see in the Niger delta areas.

  • @satanidentifier I agree with you every tribe should have its own state identity and old kingdom borders established.

  • @sexymalcom1970

Those Nigerians in the North , America and China will try every thing in the world for that not to take place. They benefit more with the state of affiars as is. This shit is so sad and disgusting how my people suffer.

  • Why must the problems of the Ijaws be the problems of the Igbos? Igbos must remember history and stay very very very far away. OKoroman et al. you have been warned

  • I work in the Delta, Port Harcourt to be precise, as an European expat. Those doped up, skimask wearing morons don't give a f*** about local civilians. They're doing it for the cash...thats all. It's their fault that there is no room for normal development in the Delta...not the oil-companies. Blowing up pipelines and illegal bunkering, what you think that does the the environment? Point made!

  • The Ikweres are Igbos but very lazy hence their resentment of their fellow upland Igbos. Most of their mothers are upland Ibos. They are now facing the hammer of the same government that was bent on annihilating the Igbos with the tactical support of the Ikweres. The Igbo man says to you "Go to hell" We remain sielnt.

  • @Nnfefe You sound like an illitrate Igbo man.A very learned Igbo will not talk like this. The first man & ppl who stood up against Nigeria was Issac Boro & the Ijaw ppl & that was before Ojukwu & the Igbos.Did Ojukwu & Igbos supported Issac Boro at that time?NO.Only Ilitrate Igbos always see the Biafra war as an Igbo war against Nigeria state .The Calabars fought along side the Igbos & non of you are talking about it.When Ojukwu ran into exile it was a Calabar man that took over the leadership.

  • The chicken has come home to roost and Igbos say to you all "Good Morning" . Its your war. No Igbo man should get involved as extreme satisfaction is derived when enemies are at each others throat.

  • @itepu22 why dont you read nnfefe very well and see he is not ibo............ read well his postings. But as for I saac Adaka Boro u will find out how some elements in the north manipulated the south south against the ibos during the war. Isaac was released from the prison and joine Brigad Adenkunle to lead the old river to effect the cut of supply route (the sea from biafra)...... It was Dr Opkara first to raise the oil injustice. South was falsely told that war was ibo wanting their oil.

  • lol nobody believes you...

they are pumping oil over there for 40 years

after so many years of peaceful protest it's time to pich up the weapons

to be honest, i really wouldn't care if you got killed over there

  • there really should be a resistance against oil companys like shell,

especially hetre in the netherlands (shell is partly dutch)

my father told me that me that in the 80's shell was a target for protests because of their business in south-africa, they then would cut fuel hoses at gasstations etc.

lets re-introduce a platform against company's like shel out of solidarity with the people over there....

  • Their vengeance will not be easy to repay.

  • about 54% of the nigerian people suffer in heavy and permanent hunger... their land is destroyed by the oil companies and the oil companies support the criminal government which domineer the poor.

so theyre just fighting for their right to live.

cant believe some comments over here ..

  • wow exxon, shell, BP have alot of explaining to do... i dont blame them for the insurgency in the niger delta... they should be considered Patriots

  • thank you very mutch for this video.

Support the MEND and his fight against multinazionli oil to victory.

  • Thank you for this video.

I will show it to all my students and I´ll explain what happened/s.

    That´s the most important.

    So Shell- we will see!

  • these big business men hiring mercenaries?

  • yeah we know the system is messed up. check out my murderer video slide.

  • see what poverty will do to you

  • I think the best and easiest thing to do to make a difference it to buy this movie. I did and watched it twice so far. Support the people who make the first effort to get this information out. Knowledge is power when it gets out and spreads. Public sentiment needs to reach the capitals of our states. Nothing else will stop the out-of-control multi-national monsters, ie., the corporations, from their spread of carnage.

  • Well, the focus should be more than reaching the politicians. Politicians mostly listen to the money flow. Whenever possible, spend your money on companies that are socially conscious. Don't invest in companies that aren't. Tell your friends about these situations. More people need to see the consequences of their spending and investing. ... Ride your bicycle more often. I do. I know one person can't do much, but the message needs to be sent upstream, ie., to investors and board members etc.

  • What a terrible mess we've created over there... All so us Americans can drive our SUV's to the mall. Its really quite sad.

  • those guys look like pirates

  • look at the river, fisheries and their homeland. I would do the same thing if they drilled for oil here in the states and polluted. they are patriots not pirates

  • theyre terrorists they have guns and ski masks

  • look at the water in the video..... look at the pissing oil pump in the river.... if their government dont want to do anything about where they fish and live then they have every right...... what if those fag oil companies did that to the mississipi, u would see the same thing right here in the states.....now go back to sleep and think ur good...

  • no i seen ross kemp (ur canadian) in a documentary about nigeria delta river the local ppl said the masked ppl on the boats with the guns polluted the waters and took the oils i can send u a link

  • u stupid

  • @Rocafile They´ve got to protect their identity to avoid repraisal! Yes it´s time to carry gun after 40 years of being cheated on! A new whole capital city, better than many european cities have been built in the north from their oil by the so called NORTHERN CALIPHATES! That is, their money has been used to turn their environment into HELL whilst new northern PARADISE emerges in the north with the same money. They have no obtion since they´re systematically being killed!! God be with them!

  • SHELL represent the dark side of technology

  • @algrand90

Thanks to the USA and Exxon who creates a lake of oil agianst Muslim rebels in the Nigerdelta.

Thanks also to Nestle and Switzerland for the 450.000 Child slaves in Africa

and almost all (ex)dictators who have a swiss bankaccount.

  • @courtjusticia They are NOT nor ever will be Muslim rebels! Only the leader is a Muslim convert, the rest ARE NOT! This fight has nothing to do with religion,it is to do with the unfair treatment of and the unfair sharing of the resources by the the govt.to the Niger Deltans! The past MUSLIM govts. are responsible for this fiasco, and they are the thieves still stealing the oil money! Most of the former dictators in Nigeria were Muslims from the North!

  • @vixxy02 You have elevated your stupidity to the nth degree in lieu of what this video is describing and your cry baby status is evident. I won't stop hammering senses into your brain

  • @Nnfefe You are a CONGOLESE RAPIST,POSING AS AN IGBO MAN.....who is the stupid one! You are so ashamed to admit you are Congolese so you pretend to be IGBO,and then start bantering with other Nigerians!

GET IT INTO YOUR THICK GORILLA SKULL,WE DON'T WANT YOU! GO BACK TO GORILLA LAND AND STAND TRIAL LIKE A REAL MAN! les violeurs d'enfants comme toi sont tués au Nigeria! Donc, ne pas la peine d'essayer d'apaiser les Ibos, parce qu'ils ont maintenant vous savez! VIOLEUR!

  • @vixxy02 Are you Igbo?

  • @Nnfefe MY GRANDMOTHER IS,SO YES I HAVE IGBO BLOOD! SO CAN CLAIM PART OF MY ANCESTRY IF I CHOOSE!

A CONGOLESE GORILLA LIKE YOU HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NIGERIA,IGBOS OR WEST AFRICA SO FUCK OFF BACK TO YOUR GORILLA JUNGLE AND LEAVE US IN PEACE!!

  • @vixxy02 enough of this talk, Men dnt talk this way. There re no congolese, there re no Nigerians ,theree re No Igbos . \we re all African First lets not create division within ourselves.

  • @chukwumaofuokwu AMEN!!!!

That's been my point all along! However when people chat rubbish about my country/people my natural instinct is to counter attack, hence this tirade! But my brother you are right! If only those Nigerian haters could have your mindset, things like this wouldn't be an issue!

    PEACE!

  • Nigeri needs to reach a level of peace and civility before the oil revenue finally comes to an end (15 yrs ?). So many people and nothing but oil and strife to export.

  • Has anyone here listen to the news lately about the attack in Lagos Nigeria... Ok I think the Militia men have gone tooo far! If they want to make an impression on the Nigerian Government they need to go to Abuja not Lagos! What where they thinking they have just lost much support doing a reckless thing as that. If they want to stop flow of oil stay in the delta if they want the government to listen and resolve the problem go to Abuja if they want the whole nation against them attack Lagos.

  • MEND has decided to attack all oil instullation in Nigeria, and if an Oil instulalltion is in Maduguri they will attack it.Don't bring any sentiment into it.They did'nt say they want to attack the FG but oil instullations and if Lagos falls within that area so be it.Look how the enviroment has been pllutated for years and nothing is done about.Since violence is the only language our leaders understand. Those who make peace change impossible make violent change inevitable.

  • GOD bless nigeria. look at the life, we are living. can we blame nature for blessing our country with oil and mineral resources. many countries like qatar, saudi arabia e.t.c are developing while our ugly government are having everything to themselves and their families. the world is watching. the government is not even presentable anywhere, am also ashamed of how ugly they look on the camera with all the corrupt money at their disposal, shame on nigeria government ur judgement is on its way.

  • .! understand from your people that i know it is mostly your goverments corruption is to blame for this.!! It seems to me why don't your people join together to stop this?and i am american and i ask myself why aren't we americans joinging together to stop this evil we'v alowed to take over america..evil in that our goverment won't allow the ten commandments or Jesus name.America has discarded God from our nation and cater to all other religions and peoples from around the world to come to usa

  • please don't blame all of America for what shell and chevron oil companies are doing to you in the Delta.

.I have much love and compassion for your people there.I of my love for Nigeria.

Please let me say my town USA and the shell oil companies tried to corner the market here in my town and have almost succeded for awhile. But they didn't succed .Last year our gas cost us over $4 a gallon.

God bless you in Nigeria I pray in Jesus name.amen and amen

  • weather you can keep oil for yourselves or not doesn't matter one tribe kills the other that's why white people step in and take what's yours. You wanna change something stop believing in magic and witchcraft and stop slaughter each other. This goes out to all Africans. If you deny that you deny a very sad and true fact.

  • You really need to go there to this country to get an idea what is happening. Dont speak unless you know

  • well we have it in ireland too we are borrowing 54 million a day and shell will bring in 84 million a day revenue in the corrib gass line and all ireland gets is 4%,,,not a bad deal for shell, and a country in ression,

  • damn shell refuses to clean up the area and change their aging infrastructure.

    fuck shell, and fuck chevron!

im so angry. is it because its africa or nigeria that they think we are nothing.

fuck the government because they arent doing a damn thing about it!

NEPA cannot keep the light on for more than 24 hours and yet america has the "oil" to contribute to global warming. the oil is ours, not the whiteman's!!!

  • this is sad. and people wonder why there are so many nigerian scammers, this is why! the money isnt getting down to the local people but into the hands of the greedy government. a lot of people, not all, see scamming as their last resort. its their only hope. i pray all the time for Nigeria and hope one day it can end corruption. sigh...

white man is still controlling africa without having to physically control africa.

they take the oil, yet nigeria cannot keep the power on for 24 hours!

  • Special Forces

    /watch?v=0xBOoN1TCmQ

  • I a white man have been to Nigeria... My wife is Nigerian and her mother is from Ijaw tribe. It is sad what has happened. This is a on going issue. I am an oil worker and what I see is terrible in this video. It makes me want to go back and help my brother-in law in the movement. In my country this abuse wouldnt be tolerated so why would this injustice be tolerated there. Read - Friends and Enemies of the Delta Region. Their government and the corperations raped them of all dignity.

  • Read a Book! This is just another case example of promoting fear, prejudice and racism among our society towards the Nigerian people.

  • Thata man is brave.I will not go anywhere near those MEND gunmen!!

  • all you nigerians are corupted by money i seen programs.the way you treat ur own is vile and evil.baiting kids just for playing

  • are you americain? im just wondering big Lad are ya?

  • DATS THE NIGERIANS I wanna know BLACKPOWER 2 those GUERILLA FIGHTERS and FUCK ALL those that are TRYING 2 RAPE nigeria of There resources AFRICA and black people we need 2 stand up.....black people we need 2 defend our land like those brothers and black people we need 2 stop selling out 2 the WHITE MAN

  • niger plz

  • or...you can continue selling out to the white man and do nothing :)

  • I think your missing the point its not a blackpower issue its a tribal issue and an oppression issue. Its about autonomy of ones region and resisting colonial inspired borders, its very complex but can assure you its nothing to do with blackpower

  • Our Diplomats here in Europe are not proud tell people that they are nigerians. I was with a our nigerian Diplomat in a taxi,

the driver ask, sir which country are you from? he said am a cameroonian Imagine that................... So Who do we blame.

  • nigeria is a generation mess. See too much oil which many countries in europe dont even have a one quarter of what we have but their econoimic is strong. Nigerian youths migrating to poorer countries in the world, living as refugee there instead of been legal in their blessed country.

  • ...and as for the militants, they re not helping the matters themselves...in 20th century u dont use military means to achieve a political goal.. I dont think that makes sense....These militants have their own hidden agenda and am sure they are one of them pple involved in bunkering...pens and paper will be more effective than what these militants are doing...it's a waste of time and I dont think they can get to somewhere with it.

  • It always amazes me why people keep blaming the Govt for all these mess...for God sake, blame the people from Niger Delta both the traditional rulers and their politicians...Nigeria is a democratic nation and am sure there are lots of Niger-Delta politicians in both rep and senate ...what motion have they moved onbehalf of their poor people? I am waiting 4 a moment when a lawmaker will resign as a protest against the poor conditions of his/her people. It'snt govt, it's actually the bastard pple

  • It is not the people's fault that they are living on oil.

  • Oh yah you re right but in a way, it's a few pple from that area that are not doing what they suppose to do to help the poor common people. Imagine no member of senate from that end ever moved a motion or presented a bill for the benefit of his/her pple... nobody makes noise about the poor condition of livin in the house of assembly...so how do u want govt to do something meaningful wen the politicians from that end dont make noise about the poor condition of living in NigerDelta?

  • Go check Ken Saro Wiwa.

  • Comment removed

  • DannyBoyPRM, May the evil you seek to spread return to you. Just because this is an open forum is not a license for depraved indulgence. Repent or you will perish like your kind.

  • It's really unfortunate how this happens. However, something to realize is that it is not primarily the government's fault, but in fact, it is the fault of the oil companies who abuse the land and pay off the government so they can keep doing making money off oil.

  • Ultimately it is the goverments fault because it's their responsibility to protect the land and their people. Corruption, greed and big oil are destroying our planet.

  • my dear the govt. permits all these even the local leaders in the niger delta are traitors to their own people too cuz they connive with the central govt. its all about the profits. u think if the nigerian govt. were strict on the oil companies, they will come in and degrade the soil and pollute the rivers with no compensation?... come on.

  • what a good cause MEND rocks

  • Outrageously sad. The West's news stations would rather give their spare time covering the most idiotic of frivolous news stories rather than cover this ecological disaster deliberately caused by these scumbag oil companies.

  • I support the militants. Nigerian govt is worse than rubbish. Stop cheating our Niger Delta people. They drill our crude oil and leave our poor innocent people in messy situations. I hate the govt and the politicians with passion. I wish we can have our a Niger Delta sovereign state.

  • i'm down with the vigilante. enuf of dis stupid politicians wey dey chop our money!

  • Enugu, Anambra and all the untapped oil states in Nigeria DO NOT LET THIS PEOPLE DRILL IN YOUR LAND OHH. Lets take ogoniland and Niger-delta as an exmaple. DO NOT LET THEM DRILL IN YOUR LAND, They will destroy it and kill off many of your people. KEEP ALL YOUR NATURAL RESOURCES UNTAPPED especially Anambra(my homeland). Abeg, biko KEEP IT UNTAPPED.

  • I support Mend 100%. Keep on fighting until those oil companies pay for what they did to your land. Heartless individuals. Devils come in everyshape or form and this oil companies and our government is OUR DEVIL.

    Fuck Oil companies in Nigeria.

May God punish all of you.

May the gods of Niger-delta punish all of you.

Ever since this oil companies came to Nigeria, Niger-delta that used to be a rich enviromental place now looks like a mess.

  • Destroy the major oil companies!!! I bac what the rebels do!!! They are looKing after their country and want the best out of it. LooK at that water, would you drinK that? Well guess what they do? So we need to end the oil buisness there.

  • Yes ohh especially Shell company. Destory them, kick them out of Nigeria and Africa.

  • fuck non violence when the government is killing your land and your people

  • Its not that simple. Nigeria is a very complex country with many tribes and monarchs. The govt is not really a representation of the people It represents a historic elite. The military is also made up of a few ethnic groups making the majority. The way forward is to reduce foreign influence 1st especially the multinationals. When the oil money doesnt flow then the many tribes can then work together for harmony or the country breaks up into 450 different nations as in history

  • Viokan, one must not necessarily employ violence as a means of achieving their freedom. The effective method of non-violent resistance is a viable option which the peoples of Biafra and Nigeria can adopt. Resolve never to participate in any other election in that country. There are myriad tactics people may improvise or initiate to ground the state to a halt until their freedom is won.

  • reply to Biafrans7

You need foriegn governments to side with you inorder for you to win a war, Biafra learned this lesson the hard way when they fought Nigeria without galvanizing international support, four super powers sided with Nigeria in that war, The Niger delta is already losing this war because the British government is now siding with Nigeria government in curbing the violence in this area, this is due to the fact many british citizens have been kidnapped for ransome in this area.

  • GO MEND!!!!!

  • Viokand, Violence is being vented by the Nigerian government. You should be glad the expatriates are not killed. That place is their Land and the resources in it. This a case of property violation and resource robbery. You forget that classifications are not always one-sided. The terrorists here are the Hausa-fulani Islamic Jihadist and Yoruba Oligarchy who collude with foreign government and corporations to exploit and massacre these innocent people. State and federal budget are Niger Delta's.

  • kidnapping Foriegn workers for ransome is not a good idea, foreign countries sympathized with your cause and were the back bone of your support, when you started kidnapping legitimate foreign workers and asking for ransome, their respective foreign governments classified your group as a terrorist organization and started issuing travel advisory to the Niger Delta, The state budget of rivers state last year was $1.2 billion, which is the biggest state budget. where did you do with ransome money?

  • Foreign folks are the reason behind this.

Them and our Government. Hell if it's up to me, all foreign oil company in nigeria would be gone after they cleaned up the mess they created(oil spills, gas flares, etc)

Abeg Karo wiwa was paid to be murdered by Shell company, Karo wiwa was keeping the rebels at bay but because he was protesting againt Shell company. They paid for that man's dead. They brought it to themselves because the rebels weren't kidnapping anyone when Karo Wiwa was their leader

  • northers will surelly beg for food one day as they doing now they are taking what does not belong to them and messing up our inviroments

  • The british/dutch company Shell should be attacked mercilessly and driven to the sea. These are a bunch of thieves mostly from Northern Europe who rapes the environment and steals other people's natural resources.

  • kick out all the foreign oil compoanies and their workers and destroy the Nigerian government a country creted by foreigners. Those traitors in the senate should be tried for their crimes against the people of Nigeria.

  • god damn i hope somebody cleans that up we need more documentry jounralists in this world and show the worlds problems thats the only to see and do somthing about the problems.

  • They took the Ibos property and sold out (and are still selling out going by what their chief Edwin Clark is saying.) Now they are reaping (unfortunately) what they sowed. Go with Biafra and control your resources 100% and you said NO! I'D RATHER SERVE THE HAUSA/FULANI/YORUBA THAN BE FREE AND LIVE IN PEACE WITH THE IBO! What a shame!

  • Nigeria needs young and intelligent leaders, not this stupid old skool dumb politicians whose goal is just to enrich themselves. We need to get rid of shell and other companies exploiting our country. Shell will not do this if oil was produced in the united kingdom. Nigeria is a complete disaster due to ignorance of our educatd fools only if the nigerian people come togerther and appoint a real leader that trully loves these wonderful country, nigeria will never recover.

  • "They(northern oligarchs)have been stealing government money that belongs to everybody in Nigeria, yet they have nothing to show for it. They are just grandstanding. How many of the northern states are rich today with all the money they been taking from oil revenues and with all the money they have been taking from NNPC. The dams in the north, it is our money they used, the irrigation projects in their areas are funded with our oil money." - Asari Dokubo. Nigerian Tribune. Sunday August 17,2008.

  • @Biafrian7..First and foremost Asari Dokunbo is not a true crusader, where did he get the money to be moving around with hummer jeeps and living in a choice area in Abuja,a true crusader like Nelson Mandela,Mohandas Ghandi, lived an examplary life...by living like the poor masses not riding in luxury cars and making noise, also u can see that he can't stop the kidnapping in niger delta which he promised he would put an end to it when it gets out of jail...but to no avail

  • frk4x4, Tell your Nigerian government to take its rogue hands off the property of the Niger Delta people. The resources in a peoples' land belongs to them, period. If you take what is not yours, your are a criminal, simple. Nigeria (northern) government in Abuja is a criminal government for more than 4 decades now.

  • this is a very imaginative well thought out piece of film !

i love the opening 5 miniutes of the film and especially

THE NICE TITLING EFFECTS AND MUSIC !

  • that would be cool if those guys helped us kill the terarists

  • what i would say is this, most of the people here writhing against the niger-delta are probaly a staff, or their perients are staff of any of the oil company....how would you feel if an oil-wel found in a portion of ur fathers land? and you are just jobless?

  • if u r unlucky enough for oil to be found in u r land then pray to God casue america is coming to install "demogracy" iraq agfanistan east timor yet they claim the give!AID! to africa yes AIDS maybe a beautiful country fucked up for america's elite profit

  • "But the whole problem (of resource control) that we are experiencing now could be traced to the "Land Use Decree," which was promulgated by Obasanjo regime shortly after he succeeded Muritala...Obasanjo had the support from the north because they all knew that with the decree, the federal government owned everything and by that, they could all share from the resource of the nation at the center." ---- David Ejoor, former Military governor Mid-West Region. Sunday Punch.

    July 3, 2005.

  • "Awolowo was a devil and his policies led to the present problems that the people of Niger Delta are fighting...the yoruba instead should apologize to the Niger Delta people for the federal government's policies the late premier of defunct Western Region influenced against the interest of the Niger Delta" ---- Dokubo Asari. Champion Newspapers. Tuesday March 22, 2005.

  • Awolowo dismantled fiscal federalism in 1968, and as the author of Gowon's economic policy from 1967 - 1970, he stripped the Southern Nationalities (Niger Delta) of their resource rights and control through the Dina Commission.

  • "Obasanjo was perpetually talking about Niger Delta. Always planning and promising one thing or the other. He would send people there to monitor, to write report. There was a continuous run of activities. He was obsessed about Niger Delta. But he did not implement any single project. That is the problem, not one thing was implemented..." --- Prof. Itse Sagay. Punch Newspapers. Tuesday July 29, 2008.

  • "The only explanation for the extra-ordinary U-turn of the North in favour of a strong, almost unitary constitution, in which the federal government owns everything including the mineral resources in my backyard, (and we all know that federal government means the Arewa North) is what Professor Omafume Onoge has aptly described as "Niger Delta's Oil and Gas proceeds cupidity." ---- Prof Itse Sagay. Vanguard Newspapers. Thursday June 23, 2005.

  • "The answer to militancy is not carrying warship to the Niger Delta, or bring two Divisions of the Nigerian army to go and station in the Niger Delta. The solution to the Niger Delta problem is not manning the roads. Injustice meted on this segment of this country is the problem.." --- Rtd. Brig. Gen. Idada Ikponmwen. Vanguard Newspapers. Monday July 28, 2008.

  • fuck nickelison4u.. on his comment a month ago, u must be a fool, then most on oil split on the river was a sabotuers by the militant and senior naval officer that collabrate to vandalize the pipe line

  • who killed all that life?

  • it s all because of the Nigeria government. If they know how to redistribute the wealth, I don t think that few citizens need to act like this.

  • Who Killed ISAAC JASPER ADAKA BORO? - Benjamin Adesanya Maja Adekunle

Who Killed KEN SARO-WIWA? - Sani Abacha

Who Killed CHIEF MARSHAL SoKARI HARRY? - Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Matthew Obasanjo

    Who killed OBI WALI ?

    Who killed PA ALFRED REWANE?

Who Killed Dr. CHUBA WILBERFORCE OKADIGBO? Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Matthew Obasanjo

Who Killed ALFRED AMINASAORI KALA DIKIBO? -Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Matthew Obasanjo

  • The Militants blow up pipelines because they now understand the reason why you are in their territory. The exploitation of their God-given resources by aliens called the Nigerian government is causing damage to their land and waters.

  • applwsandoj...and so who cared about the pollution? Your criminal evil rulers( from Obasanjo to Babangida, to Yaradua, to Abdulsalami, to Shagari, to Gowon, from the Hausa/Fulani Yoruba oligarchy; the wicked crowd who share out oil wells and used the proceeds to buy mansions abroad. So how does it benefit them to blow up the pipelines? The truth is that all Nigeria's lies to cover their evils in Biafraland no longer wash. So lie to just yourself when you right that nonsense.
