  • I'm pretty sure Charles Wesley would of been critizised for the choice of lyrics he had by the 'then' conservative of the day. As long as there is 'God glorifying' intentions to the lyrics... for the the 'arm chair theologians' out there.. 'systematic theology' ... praise needs to speak into the context of the church without stepping into heresy .......like 'Jesus is my boyfriend'... yes we are Hid bride BUT not in a erotic way... coz that would just be weird!!!

  • 'oh, I just love it when God comes in a room'

but I'm pretty sure He's everywhere anyway. when we 'feel him more' it's us finally understanding/realising His presence and opening our hearts to welcome Him more, isn't it? :s

  • @silentdot ......lol, maybe she hasn't come to realise the 'Omnipresence' of God... but it's forgivable coz I've prayed 'let your presence fill this place' then realising He is everywhere! ooops! but my intention in the prayer was to have the Holy Spirit speak... through scripture, praise and sermon.....AND sacraments!.. for those liturgically inclined.

  • Good Christian Music

  • great christian music

  • C´mon guys - break all stupid spiritual rules, don´ts and got- to- dos and just worship!! Let God be God!! Who are we to limit God and be critical about His work and His ways! There´s no perfect worshipper and don´t need to be. Get a life! I just want to dance and worship when I hear this song! : ) Great!

  • If you have a problem with the "sloppy wet kiss" what must you thin of the book of the Song of Solomon which is much more sensual. God wants us to know of His unabondoned and unreligious lov towards us and I think this song is a great example!

Other churches and people have changed the lyrics-but I prefer the original because His love is so GREAT I could see Him just laying a big one on us-without the proper etiquette! Just the way Jesus was when He was on this earth! God BLess!

  • @ccrystalgirrl All I am saying is that innuendo and worship don't mix. Plus, it doesn't make sense either, especially in an atmosphere of "unabandoned and unreligious," yet reverent love and worship unto the Lord. God bless.

  • While I am a firm believer and worshiper of Jesus Christ, I do have somewhat of a question: "sloppy, wet kiss?" If I may be frank here, when did it become popular to mix in innuendo with true, reverent worship? Besides, I always thought it was "beautiful kiss." Hallelujah anyhow.

  • @BigChiefMoose Catherine is singing the song as it was written by John Mark Mcmillan...others like David Crowder have tried to 'clean up' the lyrics by changing it to "unforeseen kiss". Personally, I like the original. Jesus - the creator-(john 1) stepped out of heaven into the earth and became 100% human (Phil 2). A 'sloppy wet kiss' is a universal human expression of deep love (only 'dirty' or irreverent to the worldly mind). What better way to express the way "heaven meets earth"? Eph 5:32

  • @24worship7 We should all endeavor to live a holy and godly life by the grace of the Lord. One step in that process is fighting against a carnal mind. If that means "cleaning up" an innuendous expression from an anointed song of praise unto the Lord, then so be it. By the way, Catherine is a very talented singer, and her efforts are to be commended, to say the least.

  • @24worship7 Amen to that.

  • @24worship7 As a Husband, I can certainly understand what the song writer meant by "sloppy wet Kiss". It is a display of pure passion and desire that only can be appreciated by Two becoming One. Nothing Perverted or Lustful just a longing to crawl inside of my wife's skin so to speak because the Love is so Strong. That is the a pretty good picture of our Father's Love for us.

  • @BigChiefMoose So I thought the same thing, first of all. But I changed my mind. If you go to strongs concordance online - it compares the word "worship" or proskuneo - Strong's #4352: proskuneo (pronounced pros-koo-neh'-o)from 4314 and a probable derivative of 2965 (meaning to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (literally or figuratively) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore):--worship. That is a sloppy kiss!

  • @karatemomma Hmmm... (scratches head)

  • @BigChiefMoose JMM in an interview said that "sloppy wet kiss" was in reference to the sloppiness of the car accident that took his friend's life... when heaven meets earth sometimes it is sloppy.

  • @BigChiefMoose so the pure all things are pure....Titus

  • She is just precious.. blessed, annointed, powerful, talented, pretty, everything! She deserves to do what she does! :) Love you Catherine!

  • I'm not a christian and my favourit band was pagan, but now she is my favourit.

  • @travelingbard119 shot buddy!

  • I really miss watching her lead worship when the revival was being televised. Oh how I would love to see her bring people into the presence of God once again! She makes me want to be free like that as well! GO CATHERINE...GO GOD!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is awesome!! God has led the worship team He has put together, at the church I attend, to the Malone Fairgrounds August 26th-? Catherine Mullins will be there!! Some members of the team will be playing with her, AWESOME!! I am more excited now than I was before. I felt the annointing sitting at my computer--imagine being there!! WOOOOOWWW!! Many great speakers, worship, GOD--will be there!! Thank You Jesus for giving these opportunities to us!!

  • I love this raw, sweaty, all-out yielded style of worship that Catherine exemplified at Lakeland!

  • @lovefortruth She is not sweating. She is wearing a similar colour thing over her red shirt. I thought she was sweating too but I saw another song she is singing and you will see a layer over the red top. The color contrast makes it look like sweat from distance. She prolly is sweating just not as it looks

  • I live God with all my heart..

Thank you for posting this video..

    Oh How He loves us!!!!!!

  • WHOA AHHHHHH YES LORD!

  • wow.. this is just soo powerful... i needed to see this it touched my heart so much.. i started crying..

  • I love it when God enters the room ... it is so overwhelming ..., it is called freedom, and I mean real freedom, one is not aware of oneself anymore and just can laugh and be relaxed ...

anyway, great video, great song, great worship leading, simply great God :)

  • I love the way Catherine worships God... and she is an amazing singer.

  • this is awesome...i however like the way Kim Walker sings it better....but thats my preference...gb

  • they are both awesome =)

  • this wasm awesome! i love Catherine

  • i do not mean to offend the author of the previous comment, but i have the exact opposite view. i can feel the presence of God simply through watching this video and listening to the music. it is also obvious to me that the people in the audience feel the same anointing just by the expressions on their faces.

  • You haven't offended me because I agree entirely with you. I am simply trying to moderate from the previous comment to my own perceptions. I am sorry you misunderstood what I was saying.

  • It must be very difficult for us to imagine what it is like to lead worship during a revival where the presence of God is overwhelming in its power and intimacy. As a worship leader, Catherine Mullins is outstanding in her passion, commitment, flexibility and conviction which communicates itself directly to other worshippers. Watch the faces shown. Compare this with her earlier version of the same song as Lakeland and with the composer's own version on YouTube.

  • wut r u talking about?

  • Listen to her & you will hear it

  • Its joyful abandonment, and full blissful surrender. We our His lover, and He is Ours.

  • All she's saying is God can have his way.

The power of the Spirit is def. alive in there...

  • Hi MimiB0215, Listening to this video worship, I think she means totally abandoning everything to God in worship, being in that place in worship that one just says yes to God. You [God] can do whatever you want, God to have HIS way in our lives, worship etc. We can't tell God how to move in our worship. lives
