Who would want to go to Cebu for an holiday? I went for Xmas and New Year! It was awful! Who would want to go to Cebu for an holiday? I went for Xmas and New Year! It was awful! No proper sanitation nor hygiene, unbearable boiling hot weather, terrible food, armed police and beggars everywhere. people ripping you off everywhere you go, people talking cebuano sounded llike dogs barking (the primitive language is so nasal and guttural, if you can call it language!). I'm a filipina, and I'm living here in the Philippines. I am studying education. The starter salary for Teachers here is 7,500 pesos or approximately US$166 a month. T__T If I won't be able to feed myself and my family by working here, I would obviously be forced to work abroad. I love Philippines. However, if I have children, I will not risk wasting their education because of my low salary. We are all trying hard. I have read that email. Not everyone is like that here.
