• Definitely miss the 90s lol

  • great band , excellent musicians and what a harmonist 5 stars !!! big band

  • I came here because I saw Blues Traveler in The Blues Brothers 2000 movie and it reminded me what a great group they are. They didn't get enough respect.

  • Makes my feet happy,they wont stop,someone help me............lol

  • Saw this on Roseanne last night. Jackie thinks he wrote it for her. Lol

  • this fellow came into Burger King and always got two double meats with cheese and offered to play the BK theme song on his harp for a discount. What a great guy

  • escuchando a Popper deje de tocar la armonica

  • Who came here cause they saw him on Roseanne?

  • @jenniepepsi Who watches Rosanne????

  • Is the bass player smokin a dooby??

  • @noobishmyspacer your a retard! and this is not the best version

  • What a cool guy. Having all of those harmonicas on hand to give to his fans.

  • i dont know why theres more than 1 dislikes..

  • I heard it on the radio the other day and I began to like this from the moment I first heard this song.

  • @RBZatlas I did the same thing 20 years ago... Enjoy

  • RIP bobby.

  • Once in a while his voice sounds just a touch like Stevie Ray Vaughan's.

Anyway a real nice song, very strong lyrics, and it really gets a head of steam going towards the end.

  • Amazing song. One of the main highlights of the 90s I think. (and that's saying something because the 90s had tons upon tons of awesome songs.)

  • Still Jammin?? shiz, would be sweet if you went on Tour soon !!! COME TO WISCONSIN RIGHT MEOW !!! haha <3

  • who listens to this song and then feels the need to give it a dislike? If you don't like it don't listen to it. You don't need to let everyone else know about it. Plus, how can someone not like this song?

  • Came to Johnstown. It was Pretty sick

  • Wow ! i get goose bumps every time i hear this song john popper is the best harp player i have ever heard,.

  • 1:25 badass

  • Love this song we used to party and blast this up on the house boat at shasta lake cali.Good times.

  • But I want more than a touch,

I want you to reach me.

And show me all the things

    no one else can see.

  • He gives up his harmonicas quite a bit, haha. It doesn't resemble him not playing anymore. He did that when I was stationed in Germany a few years back.

  • garenteed that half the crowd is baked

  • KEEP ON ROCKING BLUES MAAAAAN

  • 0:22 Blues Traveler is FOR THE HORDE!

  • He gave away all of his harmonicas!

  • @mjhanny21 Why would he give away all of his harmonicas?! He was incredible! One of the best to ever live!

  • @mjhanny21 He didnt get rid of all of his harmonics! He had triple bipass surgery and almost died and he lost alot of weight and he cant wear the vest anymore, and he probably lost the lungs to play like that anymore, John Popper will forever be amazing!

  • @zackg111 I don't think you understand dude... at the end of the video he generously throws all of his harmonicas in the crowd... so YES he did get rid of his harmonicas. I'm sure he owns more though.

  • Greatest band ever. Brings back memories of hs.

  • Makes me wanna play the harmonica so freakin bad! I loveee this song ♥

  • lot of honkies

  • Fucking amazing. Great.

    Cheers

  • Great performance of a super song!! Thanks for posting this!!

  • Just a year after this show, bassist Bobby Sheehan would be dead of a heroin OD

  • cool

  • I'm seeing them August 7th at Lollapplooza in Chicago!!!!!!

  • @CTPAIN11 nice i get to see then october 2nd in napa its cool cuz its a small place

  • They didn't really show the lead singer while he was actually singing... They spent far too much time on the smoking guitarist...

  • the greatest band of all time LONG LIVE BLUES TRAVELER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice live version. I love this song. Thanks. x

  • the bassist is not stoned, he is on heroin this was a year before he overdosed, and died, hence the not opening the eyes, have you ever smoked weed? it Doesnt make you sleep standing up.

  • long live john popper

  • The bassist is stoned :)

  • Yeah, I think he smoked a joint while your mother blew him!

  • amazing voice

  • new favorite song

  • This song brings back some good 90's memories

  • a very talented individual. popper, are hats off to you!

  • No one has a better voice than John Popper in today's contemporary rock and that also goes for his harp playing. Stevie Wonder is the only one that comes close.

  • I love that the bass player is smoking with an inch of ash hanging off. Gotta love the 90's...

  • BRING BACK HORDE !!!

  • I would like to point out that people should listen to the blues travelers for apparetly they dont know the golden rule " whatever the waitress brings, ill drink it and always be full" thankyou.

  • This song sounds really familar, but I love it, and Blues Traveler.

  • He's for real. What he puts on plastic is what he plays on stage. Pop stars alter their voices so much for CD production that there's no way they can live up to it on stage.

  • Wow.. this guy sounds good even in live performances...

  • FOR THE HORDE!

  • i love how the bassist is blitzed out of his skull

  • @brendanritchie do you also love it that he permanently blitzed hisself out of the world with drugs in 1999? Aged 31.

  • @CamelClass No, honestly I didn't know he OD'd. I did/do still enyoy his stuff. I saw them in a local bar in Santa Cruz, CA, then a week later at the MuchMusic Studio in Toronto,,,

  • It might help if I tell u to go to the "All Yours" vid...his harp vest shows off real nice in that vid..thnx! From Rockin Robin & BOOM! 5***** for this one, Popper Rocks!

  • Hey...wanna check out another 'harp' vest...my hubby plays harmonica & had a vest made special for him...I'll try to post a vid or just go into our channel! From Rockin Robin & BOOM!

  • every insturment has its own theroy and attributes. you cant just pick up a bass and call yourself a master.

  • ok then pick up a bass and go play anesthesia by cliff burton then tell me bass is easy as shit. :D

  • i would have beat the shit outta anyon that thought about going for any harmonicas that landed around me!!!! what a kickass harp vest that was =)

  • @9DragonMaster i went to see him live two months ago and got a harmonica i'm having a case built around it, i didn't catch it the man nest to me got off the floor and gave it to me said he knew what it meant to me, you can't beat generosity like that can you, by the way he looks just the same as he did twenty years ago and sounded beyond anything i ever heard

  • lucky i wasn't the guy next to the guy next to you >=)

(see aforementioned) thanks for the tip tho, im still sitting under bridges playing daily but if i could make noise like that i'd prolly sleep there too.

  • @9DragonMaster oh one more thing my harp was from the one he used not from his vest that he doesn't wear anymore

  • loved BT in the 90's, once bobby died my interest in BT sad to say died too. tough to watch this actually

  • @robertk2007 id have to agree

  • @robertk2007 BT is still very good, but I have to agree with you that they just aren't the same since Bobby died. That first album without him wasn't bad at times (the tribute song to him, for example, is very good - mainly for the raw emotion the band plays with and John sings with in that song), but it just seems to be lacking something somehow.

  • This is what I am talking about good music, back home where I grew up. We had performers that would play at Griffith park with there harmonica's on Sunday and get down playing real good music. But this guy is good. The go go's played at Griffith park for free, before they got famous, what memories.

  • bong tokes for this band

  • WONDERful song!

  • Will always b one of my favorite songs!!

  • The best harmonica player ive ever seen.

  • Very musical and inventive player... Check out RED DEVILS She's dangerous.. the late Lester Butler, a gifted player, who did not induce listening fatigue like most harp players do.

  • the harmonica is to blues traveler as the jazz flute is to jethro tull

  • what ever happen to this band? i never hear about them anymore!!!

  • They are still rockin.

But they shure miss Bob Sheehan, founding bass player who died in 1999. (You can see him on this video)

  • OMG!! do you know how he died??

  • He died on 20.08.99. Drug overdose, but really was the mix with Valium that kill him.

He was one the greatest jam band bass players. All the jam bands say so.

  • OMG! do you know how he died?

  • Klasse

  • Awsome Viedeo! I'm old so I can remember seeing them for $10 back in the day. I'm kinda pissed over the $75 charge. Prolly wont go. I would enocurage everyone else to though.

  • dude black holeman... no fucking shit.. i was wanting to the see them in charlotte the tickets were 25 bucks.. but by the time live nation got doe it was almost 58 bucks..

  • lol pause at 0:16 its epic

  • popper rules

  • yeeaaa tonights gonna be the shit! go tigers!

  • I love all the awkward, nerdy dancing in the crowd.

  • so do i like it's as if they gave every thing over to the music i'll be one of those dorks in two when they come to atlanta and i can't wait hope everyone gets to see daning like a nerd

  • @PostRockIsAGenre I'm sure I was doing some nerdy dancing back then too! My brother introduced this to me when I was 10, oh man, those were the times! Give me back my NINETIES!!! That was the best decade for radio, period!

  • Wow... 5*

Amazing. I feel like getting up and dancing. Cool!

  • Thanks for this suggestion, Mel!

  • Muito bom!

  • I love this song...no offense to you women out there but it speaks volumes of some girls mind games!

  • Hell yes it does.

  • This just brought a smile to my face!!

  • "Perhaps I've grown a little cynical

But I know no matter what the waitress brings

I shall drink in and always be full"

    I love that part. :D

  • I saw them live at the Silverton Casino. It was badass. Too bad i wasn't in the middle of the stage crowd T_T I coulda got a harmonica he was tossing em out like candy after he finished em

  • LOL it looks like he's eating the harmonica when he plays it

  • Comment removed

  • @o0PartyTime0o

    LOL!!

  • Haha Bobby is baked as usual, Miss you bro!

  • i wish i was old enough to go see this band back then

i got into them when i was in third grade when my dad bought two of their discs

they were at house of blues one night when i was visiting dallas this year but it was sold out =P

  • does the guitarrist play with a semi-acoustic guitar??

  • It is amazing watching this man. So talented.

  • Popper is some kind of freak. He never sings out of tune or clams a note. Amazing.

  • I know! A lot of famous singers are like that, but he sure as hell is better than some disney channel wannabe popstar. lol

  • I think no matter what genre of music you like, this song will stick to anyone.
