Yeah they may look cute - but I remember visiting a wildlife park as a kid and my parents picking us up and running from a big male wombat who was chasing us! Aussie animals all look cute but I wouldn't like to be on the wrong side of any of them - wombats, koalas, possums can all be vicious! Tourists beware! :o)
I had never seen wombats before because I’m from the states. I loved them so much at Australia zoo that I took a stuffed one home with me! While I was there two of them had to be separated by the zookeepers because they were bickering. Strangely, it was very cute.
