I'm very happy to let you know " Happy New Year-2012" and express my interest in nihongo. OJpano Soshaito" wo arigatou gozaimasu. Indo kara Asit Saha,.
pardon, but on the subject of verbs, i know that sometimes を is used and other times use が is used. in what situations is が used to mark the object instead of を? it confuses me very much.
hmm, i only use wo if i can "interact" with the object. for example watashi ha sushi o tabemasu. i eat sushi, so i interact with it. i perform an action. in the other cases, i use ga. for example: watashi ha sushi ga suki desu. this time i do nothing with it. i only discribe it. i don't know if it's 100% correct but this way it's easy to memorize for me.
@ArchWilson there is no difference. dropping the を is optional with polite speech , but when using casual speech を is dropped to give it a more colloquial sound.
i love this lady she teaches very nicely and it's easy to understand but i have a question can anybody tell me what "EIGA" means because in the time square example she said that word but i don't get what it means theatre maybe?
yes we want more videos.i really want to be able to speak some japanese when i will go to japan this summer.and these videos are the most helpfull ive seen so far on youtube
I've learned from a whole lot of places.. I mean I AM now learning from a whole lot of places videos series animes people and internet webpages and more but I must admit JapanSociety, that teacer right here is the best! she gave me the basic and more, you can't go wrong with her :)
Also If you are actually reading this I have a suggestion that will make it even better to understand.
- when you teach us something new and use it in a sentence you could simulate a really short dialogue with it.
muchas gracias desde México me sirvió mucho este vídeo veré los demás muy buenos. どうもありがとうございました. thank you for the help Japan society great job with these videos and the teacher is great
yeah, Ni or E' is usually to a destination . Ni ok to use. For example, Depato Ni Ikimashita (I went to the department store) or Supa e ikitai. (I want to go to the supermarket).
I like the slow build up over the lessons, nothing to hard right off the bat like so many other online guides, also, its nice how you incorporate the previous lesson material into the latter ones.

But using the pictures and then presenting different particles is a good way to teach this concept. If I ever have to sub for a Japanese class again.

wow she's introducing a butt-load of particles at once! We learned most of these over a period of weeks, including the past tense and stuff.

so if i want to say that I played tennis at the park with my friends (emphasize on me.. "watashi") I'd say it like that :
"Kino watashi wa kouen de tomodachi to tenisu (w)o shimashita" ?
