Hey Sergei, really interesting series thanks uploading it but it's been years since I lived in Russia and my Russian

is so bad (never was good for that matter) that I only caught a fraction of the narration. Do you know if this company that put out this documentary has a version with English subtitles? pilot strizhi info is a Russian site but, thanks to my lousy Russian skills I never found out.

I could only wish that British TV would have such interesting programs as this. The best you end up with are the "most deadly submarines etc", which vastly change depending on which country they are shown in!

2:15 what the heck? Is that a VTOL Mirage? Never heard of that before

@wellerocks Basically yes. The Dassault Balzac (1962) was the first supersonic VTOL but it's small payload made it impractical. It also required a large concrete structure to VTOL. Was developed into the Mirage IIIV capable of mach 2, t before cancellation.
